Thanks Chris. Ok guys I've been out of the pinball arena for awhile so i'm asking what would you think the CV is worth. It's as nice as a HUO. No leg wrinkling, almost perfect cabinet and no playfield wear. Zero touch ups. One of the nicer pinballs I've ever seen (and I'm really picky). I've owned for 14 years and need the space or I would keep it.
You're in the ballpark. Post it here and on Mr Pinball. You may have to sit on it a bit but price is in line with what this machine goes for nowadays especially given its history.
I just sold a decent one (far from HUO) for the mid 6k range so I would say you're too far off. IMO, you shouldn't take anything less than ~7k for a nice, one owner, HUO CV like yours.
Quoted from ToddSonOfOdin:Ha! Right under this thread is one marked 'Sold' for $7k in not as nice condition as yours.
Edit: ^ I'm the seller of the other one and it sold very fast because I sold it to a buddy who's played it and actually helped me pick it up when I originally bought it.
Hey jalpert. you're opinion is as good as any. thats why I posted the question. its only worth what people are willing to pay
900 buck I wish!!! I'm an open book here. I bought this in november 1999 after playing one in Vegas out on a bachelor party. I think I paid 2000 or 2200 back then.
$2k is still a fantastic deal. I heard rumors of $900 but that was probably just a single distributor. Good luck with the sale!
I'm not trying to rub that in with the price but back then you could buy just about any machine in that price range. I really wanted a Monster Bash but could never find a good one.
They are on the rise. Judging how nice yours is initially from the pics, I wouldnt let it go for less than $7K.

That thing looks great! How many plays a year do you think? It does not look like its been played much at least not lately.
Sorry for all the pictures. I'm trying to get all the one up that have been requested

I know its not the best video but I thought I'd give it a try... One more video to come of the game being played.
For its condition I think you are in the right ballpark. Been fetching 6.5-7K in good shape.
I would start at 7500 if I were to sell mine also.
GLWS
Quoted from marlboroman:Nice looking pin! looks HUO, be patient it will sell... its definitely worth your asking price!
Quoted from NathanP:should easily sell for $7500. I wouldn't lower a dollar.
If I hadn't just bought one (that I paid a lot more for), this would have been sold and would be mine.
On another note.. Man does my kid suck at pinball or what in that video. Hey I'm just saying what all of you are thinking!
congrats, I had so hard a time to sell mine that is in the same cond or better and could not land a bite at 6500 ..lol So I traded for an Ironman , very happy but I could have been happier with 7500 cash ,, Grats again

It's funny how perceptions change. I actually think you dropped your price below 6k if I remember correctly. It only takes one buyer though.
Yes I think you are right I may have been at 5800 even .. With not a peep . Like in pinball it only takes one Ball..(to beat a high score)

That's very strange, but it does happen. All a matter of timing. I personally know of 3 CV's that have sold in the last 3 weeks at $7400.00 and up.
i don't know who sells this title. 1 of only 3 that deserves to be in the top 10.
i got mine for a great price. i wouldn't sell it for 10 grand.
pinballs are static fun. cash is worthless paper.
