Selling a BSD

This is a players condition game

The cabinet has scratches and the red was redone and touched up by the previous owner

The play field has some wear as shown in the pics

The game is unshopped but for the most part it seems to be working

$2400

Yes it should have the lollipop targets.

So why not try to earn your profit and put them on?

Yup, you could put on the proper targets and launch button for less than $20 and make it closer to right for the next guy and still make your profit.

...but that would involve doing something positive in the pinball community.

#10 9 years ago

You guys crack me up! Lets do positive for the pinball community. Maybe he should send it off to HEP and then put it up for sale at $11,000. That might be a step in the right direction, don't you think?

I think for a 2k+ profit the guy could at least take a little pride in the hobby and shop it out. IMO if you care about the hobby and are selling a pin at a profit, it should be in better condition than when it was purchased. (Not talking about people that bought a NIB pin 20 years ago and selling now. You guys know what I mean)

Regardless, GLWS

I doubt there is 2k profit. Nobody seems to bitch when manufacturers are making 2+ profit on each machine they sell. I guess they aren't doing positive for the community.

My opinion is if $2400 is too high for this machine, then make an offer that you are comfortable with or don't buy it. I'm sure there is a happy median price that you and the OP could come to terms with if you really want it. If you can't work on your own machine and don't want to pay someone else to, then maybe this machine is not for you.

Maybe you misread my post, never said I was interested, just bumping his post. Like I said, GLWS.

Wow he got a heck of a deal and its not to bad looking

#15 9 years ago

Glws gotta love bsd!

#16 9 years ago

Mismatched flipper buttons (yellow or white on left side), wrong stand ups, empty lock bar holes, warped coffin lid and wrong launch button are all easy fixes. It's the broken left slingshot plastic that'll be tricky to locate and some playfield wear down near the out hole and green 2x insert need fixing. Some work and it'll be nice. GLWS

Would you say BSD is a $1400 game folks?

#19 9 years ago

Yea well it happens all the time I just got mine few weeks ago and got a decent deal but im shopping it and putting leds init and whatever else it may need to make it the best it can be and if I sell it , it will be forwhat I have tied up in it which will be around 2250 . I just enjoy doing it and getting to play and own it for a little while .

Quoted from o-din:

Not at all. I paid 2500 for mine a year ago, but it was in nice condition. This one is just priced too high. I have no problem with someone trying to profit. It just needs to be priced accordingly for what it is.

#21 9 years ago

Yea I believe this is a reimport which usually isnt a huge deal to me at least but I think it may have had a center post between the flippers and has different launch button other than that it looks pretty nice should sell around 2k tho

This was a joke and I was being sarcastic! Some people are so gullible.

Thanks O-din for being a voice of reason. O-din gets a kickback for every pinsider he helps me rake over the coals

Looks like I'm the gullible one . Hey it could be true, I got mine for close to that, only I'm restoring it. You may want to mention whether or not its an LS or an SP playfield. That matters to some people.

Yep.. I turned down a BSD from a collector in nicer shape than this for $1400 a month ago. Passed it on to a buddy who bought it.

PF is darn near perfect in it also...but I already had one
