There is little to no wear by the tube kickout. Most of the pop bumpers still have the factory mylar rings around them. The mylar has peeled up, but it's still in place and has done a great job of protecting the playfield underneath.
Game has the following new:
Full set of replacement displays (4 backbox, 1 lower playfield, and the credit/match)
New Ni-Wumph MPU
New power supply
New driver board
New interconnect cable
New spinning motor
New motor driver board
New pop bumper driver boards (not all of them, but some have been replaced)
LEDs
Brand new spiral-bound instruction manual
Overall nicer than many out there. Ton of value in the boards alone!
Asking $1900, but open to offers, both cash and trades. Available for pickup and able to deliver within reasonable distance.

Love the drain cheat. LOL

Great looking machine!

#3 9 years ago

Nice looking pin Gecko! This should find a new home fast!~SpOoKy

#4 9 years ago

Very nice what are you looking for in trades

#5 9 years ago

Does it play 100%

#6 9 years ago

Yeah, it plays 100%. I picked it up recently and it's a combination of not being as much fun as I thought, and needing some cash.

Forgot about the drain cheat...came that way. Gotta remove it!

All that I've done is start to clean/wax and get a manual from PBR.

Open to a few things for trades, but PM me to discuss specifics.

It's old school pin. When I play a newer stern and then an 80s pin its night and day. But black hole is just a beautiful pin

#8 9 years ago

It's definitely a pretty thing...and the blue displays look extra sharp.

Spend a few minutes installing matching toppers on this and Paragon last night.

What is the drain cheat?

Quoted from northvibe:

What is the drain cheat?

Looks like the gate is always open after re-entry. No need to engage it yourself.

#11 9 years ago

the rubber blocking the left outlane near the bumper

#12 9 years ago

Ahhhh first pic...I see now. I was thinking...crap when I get mine working how can I cheat?! Thanks.

GLWS! I picked one up off CL, but had never played it. Finally played a bunch on tpa and actually enjoy it.

#13 9 years ago

Nice game, this one is high on my wish list! GLWS

Here's the drain cheat for those that don't see it.

#15 9 years ago

Oh - that's even worse! I thought it was the re-entry gate. Instead, the game is made stupid easy! Remove that rubber!

#16 9 years ago

Yeah I know...I just really haven't touched this machine since it came home....

#17 9 years ago

BH has left the building! On the way to its new home!

And happy to say, has arrived safely! Greg is a great guy to deal with. He spent a considerable amount of time walking me through the machine, showing me how to remove the head and then did the lion's share of the moving with me helping where I could. I was a bit embarrassed that my measuring job sucked so badly and we had a world of trouble getting the machine in the car. That head unit is a monster, size-wise. We were fortunate to get it in just in front of the cabinet by tilting it backward a little to clear the roof liner and moving the driver's seat and seat back. For its size that head unit is pretty light though, compared to the main cabinet!

Anyway, if anyone tells you a Gottlieb wide body won't fit into a Prius V, you can tell them different! Of course I drove home with my knees in my armpits but we made it - 14 hours total but that included at least an hour just chatting pinball beyond the half hour I spent looking the machine over.

I'm looking forward to getting her all put together tomorrow and starting work on a good cleaning & polishing plus sorting out the few known issues - one inoperative pop bumper, a few dead lights and very low speech volume. The game came with a PBR manual reprint, but with all the new boards in it I need to go track down info on those too.

Scratch one off the wishlist! Thanks Greg!

#19 9 years ago

Congrats! I believe there is a potentiometer on the speech board, but I thought I heard that controlled the speed of the speech, not the volume. Good luck!

#20 9 years ago

Nice ending, congrats to you both! ~SpOoKy

Glad you made it home safely! When I saw the Prius I was definitely skeptical, but we made it work and it makes me glad to see it going to a home that it's going to get the love it deserves!

Not to mention going to a Vermonter is great!
