This machine is not Collector Quality, but is is far above just a Players Machine. EVERY SINGLE THING on this machine works. Absolutely no credit dots. All Ramps are completely intact with NO cracks or breaks anywhere. The slot machine feature works flawlessly on this game and matches up with the Matrix display 100%. All bulbs and flashers have been upgraded to CoinTaker LEDs. The sides have little to no fade. There are no wear spots on the playfield.

This machine is NOT perfect. It has the usual chipping around the equipment and clue inserts -- I used blue LED's to try to mask the imperfections, but they are still visible. Chipping also around the "AutoFire" insert. The translite is "stuck" to the glass in a few places. I don't know what caused it, and it never bothered me enough to try and correct it. There are four marks on the backglass art that have rubbed through. Previous owner did not secure the board and it rubbed the backglass. There are some small marks near the flipper buttons and a small scrape on the right side. The playfield glass has some scratches.

When I bought the machine (May of 2013) I took EVERYTHING off of the playfield to clean it, replaced all of the rubbers, and of course, all of the bulbs.

Currently the game is set to take tokens, but can be set to free play as well. The coin mechanisms are there, but I have modified them so that they take "Chuck E Cheese" Tokens as well as quarters, so they are great for a game room, not so much in an arcade.

Please PM me with any questions other than "Will you take X for it." The price is $2500. I don't need to sell it -- Just don't play it as much as I should -- and I have priced it more than fairly so there is no need to haggle. You can come see it and play it. If you like it, pay in cash and take it home. If you don't like it, or don't think it is worth what I am asking, no hard feelings.

This is a super fun game. You did a great job cleaning it up too. Really looks nice. GLWTS.

#3 9 years ago

Some day you'll be mine.

#4 9 years ago

This recently debuted on Pinball Arcade, i've seen a lot of games that come out on pinball arcade raise in value and demand shortly after coming out. Good buy GLWTS!

#5 9 years ago

So there you have it directly from kporter: This game will be worth $10,000 by Christmas. I am letting it go for a song....

Seriously though, I probably am leaving some money on the table, but I feel that the people I have dealt with when I bought my pins haven't tried to squeeze every penny out of me. I am trying to pass that along to someone else.

Karma goes both ways, right?

Good Morning. Weekend bump!

Nice looking game. I'm curious, is there any easy fix for mild insert chipping like on the auto fire insert? And I'm not being snarky, I'm just wondering if that is easy to address or better left alone

#10 9 years ago

To the best of my knowledge, there is no "easy" fix. No one sells playfield decals.

It has been suggested that someone with a good eye could find a paint match then clear over it. Being as I am color blind... obviously this is not something for me!

I think most people have just come to the conclusion that it is just something inherent with the game. My response was just to keep the playfield and balls waxed regularly.

When I want to trade, people just want to buy. Now I want to sell and everyone has a trade offer.

Machine is still available!

Saturday Morning... It's a fine day to get yourself a Who?Dunnit!

I'll be around all day today, come by, play a few games, and take a new friend home!

I've been interested in buying this title for a while now. Yours looks nice. That said, I think $1750-$2200 would be a price point where this would move quickly.

#15 9 years ago

I'm sure it would! I bet a WOZ would move pretty quickly for $3000, but you won't find many people willing to give one of those away either.

As I said in the ad, I don't need it to move *quickly*. It's a great game in fantastic shape that plays 100%. I just don't play it as much as it deserves and want to move it along to someone else who will appreciate and play it. I didn't price it for someone to have to haggle down a price, but I didn't price it just so a flipper can grab it either.

Anyone who has interest in one of these will realize that this is a very fair price - especially given the shape it is in.

But I do thank you for your input.

#16 9 years ago

I'm not trying to sidetrack your thread. You have every right to price your game as you wish and the concept of fair price is always relative. If you are curious though, do a search of the forums for price check on who dunnit. It would seem that other pinsiders would say that $2000 is average. Likewise, the average sales price on Boston pinball is $1300 and change overall, and $1800 within the past year. I think $1750-2200 is a realistic range for this title and that assertion would seem to be supported by the available data. It's certainly not at all similar to someone suggesting WOZ is a $3000 title. Regardless though, good luck with the sale. Yours looks nice and it's a fun game.

#17 9 years ago

I agree that $2000 is average. My assertion is that the fact that the slots work 100% and that the ramps are COMPLETELY undamaged that this is well above an AVERAGE game.

As my father says: Things are only worth what someone is willing to pay at that particular moment.

Hey someone else that doesn't have a giant man-cave basement full of 20 pins! I was beginning to think I was the only one. How's it going? Nice looking game!
