Not saying I agree with either side, but you should also consider Marco's perspective.
What should they do when they get it back from you? Do they just leave it however you package it up and falsely sell it to the next customer as new, or do they have to spend time and money by testing it and repackaging it?
I understand their policy, but also understand your frustration.
