I have the same issue with my Frankie, only my servo board doesn't even light up. I even checked the LED, it's fine. I should try and reflow the solder, but all the traces test continuity with my MM, so I'm not sure if that would help.
I have played around with an arduino board and I've got some pretty good servo movements mapped out. Now if only I could figure out how to get it to run when the start button is pressed, and more importantly, get it to stop when the game is over
