Robin,
Any chance you could make the front page topics behave like the sticky topics? Meaning you have the option to only show threads that are unread or have new replies (basically hide all threads with a gray oval and 0 inside). Then you could click on a button to show all threads if needed. With how active Pinside has become it would be nice to hide all these threads you were already caught up on.

I noticed there is a hide idle button for the front page. Not sure when this was implemented but thanks so much Robin.
