Quoted from djblouw:If you ever make it over to GR, drop me a line and you can spend some more time playing it.
On Monday, that's exactly what happened. ...and it was glorious.
I just wanted to pop in here to send a quick shout-out to Daane and his wife, Naomi. They were both, just...the most gracious of hosts, despite us only knowing one another tangentially through the hobby. Thanks for welcoming me into your home, guys.
I also wanted to send a couple pictures that Daane was gracious enough to let me snap during my visit. You've seen most of the machine in the glamour shots posted above. Well, it's just as clean inside as it is outside:

...and I'll dispute Daane's inaugural post on this thread saying:
Daane, even your prop-rod was chromed:

If you look closely at that last picture, you can even see a beam of light shining in.
From the heavens.
Because God is happy.
In all seriousness, Daane, it was an absolute pleasure playing this machine. As I mentioned...
...but it NEH-VER looked or played this good. What a treat. An even better take-away was getting to know you and Naomi. You both made this pinball nut feel pretty darn welcome in your home. I'm glad we could both find some time to make this happen. You're welcome at the Claytor arcade anytime.
Many thanks and I look forward to seeing your next restoration!
Sincerely,
Ryan
