You can count on my business when I'm in Vegas for SEMA.

I went in yesterday and had a good time.
It was Halloween so predictably nuts. A lot of people going in and out and all over the place.
The pins were all in great shape. I really liked being able to play pins that otherwise I would never get to try.
What did I learn?
WOZ is visually impressive. Truly incredible to behold this machine. The gameplay? Well, I didn't really know what I was doing. It's not exactly easy to figure out or as simple as pick up and play.
Metallica is awesome. I'm sold on it. I want this pin. I don't really know the rules all that well but you can have a lot of fun playing right off the bat.
This isn't a review thread so I won't go into each and every pin but I was happy to see people playing the pins although I can see how the pinball machines are not the biggest money maker and I think we all can see what will happen regarding operators. The price of entry for the return just does not make sense. What about pinball really makes sense though?
The location is easy to reach but there are no bathrooms. Bummer. I had to keep running to Denny's to pee but that's also because I had more beers than I should have.
Ultimately, I'll be back and I have plenty of tokens leftover so I'll probably pop in tomorrow and see if I can figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do on WOZ.
Quoted from Cornelius:WOZ is a great machine, but that Hobbit though! Smaug Edition... so choice...
I REALLY enjoyed the Hobbit as well. I played it back to back with Ghostbuster's and I just preferred the Hobbit. It's easier going to play if that makes sense. With Ghostbuster's I had to really pay attention and make sure I'm playing perfect to prevent a drain. I could loosen up and just have fun playing with Hobbit which is how it's supposed to be I think...
