This is an official announcement to let the pinball community know that Fremont Arcade is now open featuring 16 pinball machines.

Many of you know my work from the 10 game pinball line-up that I currently have set up in the arcade at the NYNY Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas strip. Well, I've now finally opened my own arcade and I've included 16 pinball machines in the mix. Most of the pins are LE versions, and most are essentially NIB, modded, and then straight to the arcade floor.

Current titles are:

Harley Davidson 1st Edition Sega
Avengers Hulk Limited Edition
Kiss Limited Edition
Transformers Limited Edition
Game of Thrones Limited Edition
AC/DC Premium
Iron Man Vault
Metallica Pro
Mustang 50th Anniversary Limited Edition
Walking Dead Limited Edition
Wizard of Oz Emerald City Limited Edition
Hobbit Smaug Edition
X-Men Pro
Spiderman (Stern)
Medieval Madness Remake Limited Edition
Star Wars Episode One

In addition to the pinball wall, we are featuring some of the newest and most unique arcade games currently in production, including The World's Largest Pacman, Time Crisis 5 Deluxe with twin 55" monitors, a pair of Moto GP motorcycles, Jurassic Park Arcade, Transformers Deluxe 55" Theater, Typhoon motion ride, and so much more.

We are located at 450 Fremont Street Suite 179, downtown Las Vegas, inside the Neonopolis complex, directly behind Denny's and The Heart Attack Grill.

This is fantastic news, very excited about this. The NYNY pins have always been amazingly maintained, I think we can expect the same here. See you in October!

Ha! I saw Andrew Dice Clay last night. He used that same line.

#13 7 years ago

Oh, please excuse the pathetic banner. We put the larger banner out on Fremont Street to increase exposure until our real signs are installed. We have a 20' custom neon sign being manufactured for above the door, and another facing Fremont Street next to Denny's. They should be up within 2 weeks.

#14 7 years ago

I enjoyed my 3 hour visit last nite.Almost all the pins are 1 play for $1.00 or 3 plays for $2.00.I Love that!.I played every one of them.Very minty!

Next time i will bring my headphones for the Hobbit and WOZ headphone jack.

This place Rocks!

Once a week mandatory visit for me.

I'm guessing the previously discussed negotiations with PHOF didn't get too far?

#16 7 years ago

Is it on dollar bills or card swipe?

Yathink?

#18 7 years ago

Thanks again for coming by and I'm really sorry I missed you yesterday, Dana. I still don't have a set schedule yet so I'm still just in and out.

Quoted from cavalier88z24:

All games operate on tokens. Most of the pinballs also have bill acceptors.

An accurate guess.

This is subject to change.

Holy shit man, that's friggin' AWESOME! I always thought pinball would be a great addition to Fremont and you went and DID IT!

I think you deserve some apologies from the people who said you couldn't do it.

.....are you for sure talking about Fremont Street Las Vegas?

Insert Coin (s) didn't last very long there (yes I know it's vids not pins), but I heard it was because the bouncers were pretty aggressive, the games weren't maintained, and the drink minimum was ridiculous. I bet your arcade actually thrives because this is what people are really looking for.

The games definitely weren't maintained, that's for sure.

I stayed at the Nugget last trip, I would definitely stay there again. Reasonable quality hotel for a good price.

Downtown is where it is at, IMO.

drink minimum??? Why when you can go the casinos for free ones.

It was required to sit at the bar to play the consoles (according to yelp, $25 per person minimum tab). Lots of comedy clubs across the country run the same way, it's how they make the real money.

It's unfortunate because they had DJ nights, and the promotion videos were very professionally done

Maybe that's the problem, they overspent and the income couldn't pay the bills. Sounds like the op is keeping it simple and investing in the games, not the atmosphere which is what most people care about.

I got news for you if you think casino drinks are really "free".

There are ways to ghost play games to get them or you can play the real cheap and fun games like Sigma Derby.

I kid you not, a couple of years ago I said -- probably only to myself -- that Neonopolis would be a great place for a Pinball Hall of Fame annex. And I was reminded of that idea after it was announced that the Riviera was closing. Ugh

I miss the 24-hour access the Riv's annex provided, but given I typically stay downtown, I'm quite pleased to read that my great idea is coming to fruition. Congratulations on the accomplishment, I look forward to playing pinball downtown during Halloween week.

Painful irony, after months of talking about it I recently recorded my "Brain Invaders guide to Vegas" podcast episodes. As the executive director of the podcast I make an occasional appearance on the show, and despite the time and effort I put into preparing for it, I wasn't aware this was coming. Ugh!

Very cool! How about a Fremont Arcade t-shirt? Don't need it now, but maybe by my next trip to Vegas?

We recently printed t-shirts for the staff. After some changes and improvements to the artwork, customer T's will soon be available for purchase.

Did I miss it? Is there a website or Facebook page for your venue?

Congrats and thanks for helping keep pinball arcades alive!

FML, I just was at the Nugget for 3 nights last week and didn't walk to that spot as the last time there was very little there. Man, I feel bummed. Definately will be down by tho. Thanks for opening an even closer place, I'll probably be by NYNY tonight.

Great. I hate those card systems. I'm planning a trip to Vegas in October, so I'll have to check this out.

#50 7 years ago

thank you extreme pinball! have always wanted something downtown and the insert coins never really interested me.

I will be down next week for labor day and will make sure to stop in. Any chance of ghostbusters making its way over there? Its just the newest flavor and not many places to play it right now. i would be spending at least $20 in ghostbusters if it makes it over there. Otherwise i will prob make it over to NYNY and play it for a hour or so. Love downtown and really happy this is down there now.
