My new favorite thread! As we have already discussed... I'm definitely in for a full set of Hurricane ramps, and the Pinbot clear blue ramp.
Quoted from Freeplay40:Haven't forgotten you. I think that the Hurricane set will likely be the first longs ones I do....as soon as I get to the upgrade on the heat source....But had a lot of orders this week... Planets must be aligned.
No worries my friend, I am waiting patiently.
Quoted from Freeplay40:Picked up a Hurricane from a friend this week so I can model all the ramps. Framework for new machine started....all parts for the new machine on the way!
WOO HOO!!
Quoted from Freeplay40:This one (center) has been tough to get molded. I hope to have the mold completed today, then will take several days to cure and finish. Should stat forming inside of a week.
I knew it would be a challenge, probably because its so steep and curvy. If you can, it would be cool if you could post some pics of the process here!
Quoted from Freeplay40:Here's another photo of one ramp on top of the other. Pinster68's ramp is on top and the correct one (Dave's) is below...
Quoted from Freeplay40:Yeah, that would have been the Band-Aid to counter the problem with the earlier ramp already installed....sort of how I view the High Speed ramp cover which I designed out of mine.
Indeed, and the way they mounted that plastic is as half-assed as anything i've ever seen. But I wouldn't trade my early game for a later version, mine has the independently controlled, animated, lighted pop bumpers... My understanding is that the later games had NO lights in the pop bumpers at all!
Quoted from Whysnow:Curious, is your name really milton?
Milton187.... This being Milt.... Pretty heavy, hey dude?
Quoted from Freeplay40:This should work fine for the Strange Science Anti-Gravity. Put some coins under it to demo the transparency.
I'm thinkin that may work for the Pinbot ramp too!
So, Mark, now that you've figured this color thing out, have you considered taking on the yellow Road Show ramps?
PS. Glad you're feeling better, don't forget the CoQ-10 to go with your statin!
Quoted from Freeplay40:Pinbot is a definite. I plan on doing that one in a transparent turquoise....same color as the Strange Science Anti-Gravity ramp (color sample below).
Cant wait for this! And a clear Cyclone skill shot ramp in the same color would be the shiznit!!
Yea yea, I know I know... There's a million ramps ahead of anything new, and it will require the "bigger machine" that you may never have time to finish building... lol
Just jerkin yer chain buddy, you know I luv ya!
