Quoted from lordloss:I have a nos ramp for the subway if freeplay is interested.
That would be very nice of you to offer to help make a new subway ramp

Can you make this ramp with your current set up?
Thanks
Quoted from Freeplay40:Thanks for posting the photos and most importantly the measurement. Just a hair longer than I am will to try with the current set up, so can't do it now...sorry guys.
Thanks for responding. I guess I will have a metal one made.
I agree @jayterm. Family is important and comes first. It's very nice of you help produce replacement ramps for the pinball community. The pins can wait for their ramps!
Thank you
Quoted from jaytrem:Me too please. Project is officially under way. Playfielf sure looks nice where the mylar was, the rest not so much.
Good luck with your project.
Freeplay40 I'm in no rush for the comet ramps. Take your time. Thanks
Quoted from dung:So, having been the one who did the mold above. I spent two years on that bondo monstrosity. Never, never again. Never ever again. It sucks, sucks hard. If I were to do it over I'd build a box and use some sort of pourable plaster. Then cut the shape that freeplay went with. I still have bondo all over my workbench, bondo dust galore. Just no.
I wonder could you buy huge block of delrin material and CNC the delrin to make a mold?
Quoted from dung:So, knowing a machinist who is into pins, sure. Problem is you need the geometry. I originally looked to make a 3d model to print and then cover in bondo, but getting accurate measurements proved too much.
I see your point. We purchased a JP over a year ago and of course the owner said the pin was in good shape and was just serviced. Well the ride home the fuse holder clips on power supply were crap and then we noticed one the pop bumpers would stop working. So I took it apart and noticed the subway ramp was in bad shape and the main ramp has cracked. With no ramps available it's time to purty this pig up and ship it.
Quoted from mbott1701:I would buy a JP subway too.
The JP subway ramp was discussed last year and Mark said it was too large for his current setup. I need a new one too
Quoted from cougtv:Any chance of a Data East JP subway?
I would really like a new one
This has been asked a few times. Freeplay40 has said he needs a larger heater to make the subway ramp. I posted me repairing my subway ramp in the JP forums.
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:I don't have any of the games listed in this thread but wanted to express my appreciation for such a great contribution to the hobby. There would be so many dead games out there with unusable ramps without all your hard work!
2 of the pins I currently own could not be played without Freeplay40 providing ramps to the pinball community
