Quoted from MustangPaul:

Yes but they want to sell NEW games not keep old ones going. Keeping old ones going makes buying new ones not very attractive. $200 for a new ramp for an old game or $5-9 thousand for a new game.

Exactly. NASCAR is less than 10 years old. Stern isn't producing ramp replacements. I understand this is not as popular as some games out there but Stern isn't even supplying companies like Marco with replacement ramps.

Mark, good luck with your surgery. I just had heart ablation surgery back in February. I had the same concerns you did, but this is the 21st century and as difficult as it is to believe any operation on a heart can be routine, these ARE routine operations now.

Did I read somewhere in this thread that you were thinking of making the Bally Transporter ramps? The one that crosses over the playfield to the whirlpool?

Yikes to all of the above.

Back to the subject on hand... Was there any talk about Comet ramps being redone?

Quoted from Freeplay40:

You guys are all too kind. I am taking it easy for a while but I'm still producing ramps as requested...just maybe not as fast as one day as I have in the past. I do enjoy making ramps and honestly I think I'd be bored to death right now if I wasn't making them. I will be holding off on anything new at least for the near term, but still producing all the ones I have in the past.
So, if you need something, feel free to contact me and I will let you know what I can do for you. High on my list is "BLUE". Want to get the blue dye process down.

I was the same way after my ablation surgery. I just wanted to get the hell out of the hospital and start my real recovery at home. I would have went insane if I didn't have my pinball machines to tinker with.

There's quite a bit of talk in the Transporter thread about redoing the remaining ramps in red or rose to match the new ones from PPS. I am rebuilding a Comet and the main ramp is destroyed and unobtainable. It would be great if these could be re-done at some point. Simple ramp too when compared to all of the other ramps you have already produced.

Quoted from chad:

I am aiming for the clear ramp but figured the colored ramps would be more. Why would clear be 30 dollars more? Planetary Pinball list at $149.00 eacj

Demand.

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Sorry to hear about you getting the flu just when your recovery was going so good Mark but that will soon pass. I've never had the flu so I don't know what your going through.

No kids Paul? I had never been sick in my life until I had kids. Then the flood gates were open and the next thing I knew I was standing in a bathtub with my son throwing up over my shoulder and warm puke running down my back. Kids are festering little petri dishes.

Yep. I will order one as well. Would love if you could redo the center ramp too.
