Quoted from Madmax541:Marco has the subway ramp
I thought when I checked yesterday they were out
Wow. You really are knocking ramps out at an amazing pace. Thanks for all your hard work in bringing back machines that need some help.
Quoted from Freeplay40:Nice photos....thanks. Can see that they left quite a bit more plastic at the end. Can the Rufio ramp accommodate that extra plastic? In other words, would the MNF ramp fit in the Hooks game?
A little trivia on ramp forming... if you look at the exit end of the Rufio ramp you can see at the bottom of the ramp the plastic is very thin while up at the top it is much thicker, indicating a female mold was used. There are generally reasons why a ramp is molded in either a female or male mold which is usuall determined by which direction the plastic can be cleanly formed. I would be inclined to mold this with a male mold which would make the bottom...where the big steel ball rolls....thicker. New ramp...new challenge.
It is a fine line. I bought a new cyclone ramp and it's made with thicker material. So I had to dremel down the plastic next to it so it would fit correctly.......
That said new ramps are so sexy.
Quoted from Freeplay40:The Farewell Tour for GnR ramps is here. Shipping now and working my way through the list. Hope to wrap up by Friday.
Thanks for all who indicated interest. Any left overs will likely go Ebay at much higher prices!
How did I miss out on these.
Quoted from Freeplay40:I am meeting tomorrow morning with a local friend to test fit the Radical ramp.
Sweet. I can’t remember if I signed up. I want one.
Quoted from Freeplay40:You are on the list. I'll be honest that I do not think the current mold is correct. That said, since I have already purchased the thick plastic for this I will secure another donor ramp and fast track this one.
thanks
All good. Perfection takes time.
Quoted from Freeplay40:Working on both the Transporter and Radical right now. Some of the first finished Radical ramps....[quoted image]
I can’t wait for the call to order my radical ramps.
