Freeplay40 It's made of that really thin black ABS, so the ball always hops above the ramp and breaks the small building made of the same material. It's all one piece. Unbroken ramps for this pin are really hard to find.
I’m doing a restoration on a Secret Service, could donate the ramp toward this effort (haven’t checked its condition yet.)
I have been ailing the past 10 days or so.... Started with a backache which really curbs being productive then got a cough which is not uncommon for me in the spring time here in the damp PNW. The cough however, progressed to something worse than I have experienced in the past. Last Friday I thought to rule out COVID I would do a home test. Damn... I have avoided COVID since it first reared its head, but this time it found me. Contacted my doctor right away on Friday and did a virtual zoom visit and was prescribed the anti-viral regimen which I started Friday night. Best guess is that I contracted the COVID probably about 5 days before I tested. I am a high risk individual for COVID being 70 years old and having had both a heart attack (triple by-pass) and a mild stroke. I did the initial COVID vaccination and have had two boosters. My doctor agreed that the vaccinations undoubtably lessened the severity of my infection.
It's now Sunday morning and I am feeling much better today. Only a small cough and runny nose remains and the brain fog and fatigue are clearly waning. In retrospect, I have had flu bouts much worse than this. I feel very lucky.

My experience says that most of the symptoms will diminish but not as fast as you might expect. And the fatigue lasts even longer.
Finish the round of Paxlovid even if you are feeling better. The worst side effect of that is that you will feel like you are sucking on a bar of metal. That goes away a few days after you are done with it.
Take care of yourself. Us old farts have to worry about everything.

Dodge the covid bullet for years, then my granddaughter graduated, wife goes to Toronto and boom soon as she's back... Covid!

I caught Covid at the TPF. I never had it until then. I've had the initial shot and 3 boosters. I would have died without the shots. I felt terrible for 5 days, sneezing, runny nose, headaches, no energy and no sense of taste or smell except for that burnt metal taste from the Paxlovid.
I couldn't finish the Paxlovid. I too am at risk and I'm so thankful I got the vaccinations.

I just wanted to post a review of my new FreePlay ramp for my PinBot. This mod has made the look of the game light years better than the original blue ramp. Thank you so much for the option. I ended up using silver tape to recreate the stickers from the original PB so it’s not so blank, and added a blue and red light behind the ramp to really sell it. Thanks again!

Well, the news is, yes I am still going to reproduce it. A few priorities got in the way and then the sun came out! Been taking it easy for a while and just enjoying a little time off....or a little bit of actual retirement!.
On another note for my next project, Judge Dredd is now in the house to stay. Generally, I work with donors for reproduction ramps, but given there are 6 pieces to reproduce I thought it would be best if I actually owned the machine.....and no pressure! A very patient friend had loaned me the 6 pieces to do Demo Man and I had his pieces for over a year!
I purchased this game from the wife a much loved local collector and pillar in the local community who died recently. Very nice to have one of his games in my own collection.

I have never used a purple dye, but I might consider it this fall. Genesis playfield is a bit unique because it has artwork under the ramps. So lightly dyed would a purple might work as well as the clears.

Definitely hope JD ramps happen. I have one in pieces that I’ve been rebuilding and it needs ramps. Also know of others that need them.

I’m rebuilding a JD , and all but 1 ramp are broken. A couple have splints that gets them to function. I would love to replace them.
