Are the zones to allow you to control which edge doesn’t get heated?
I order my plastic precut to various sizes based on what I will be forming. The zones allow me to effectively heat each size.
This machine turned out pretty complex...at least for me. Got up the nerve to plug in the 25# power cord and start testing the electronics. Everything checked out so far. Test heated a small piece of plastic in one of my other machine's frames...success! Next up will be the construction of the various platen sizes. Everything looking good so far!

I’m impressed , that took a lot of work and insight about what situations you might encounter while making the different ramps . Very cool .
Got a little sidetracked this last week, but was finally able to test the new machine. SUCCESS! Since High Speed was my first ramp I let it be the beta for the new machine. I can now build the two larger platens for the larger ramps, but I will hold off until I get the Comet center ramp mold cast as it will take probably a couple weeks to cure and finish.
Been a long time coming, but getting the new machine operational is a very big hurdle!

That is the decal for the Comet ramp on Cyclone. Not the right one for the Comet Center ramp. I have reached out to Marco to let them know this Comet ramp is coming.

Thanks! We're actually heading east as soon as we land. Big ski trip to Idaho and back. Congrats on shot #2, I've only got the first one in me, so a bit nervous for the flight.

That was a one off that I did. If I had the complete damaged piece that I could copy I could make one.
Technically, I was only needing the ramp flaps on mine. Game is over at a friend's house getting reassembled with a CPR playfield.
