Sounds good. Yeah I would go for the bracket in place as well. Let me know when you get a plan together. Im in full restoration mode on my PB, so no rush!
I've been searching for the Pinbot leaf switch brackets (main ramp) and have not been able to find them. I don't think I want to try and fabricate those, so If you are willing to send me those two leaf switch brackets, I will install them on a new ramp for free....when I get the ramps done!
I do plan on making the lift ramp complete.

Anybody planning on painting the corkscrew ramp orange when it comes out? I'd love to have an orange one, but would prefer to have somebody who actually knows what there doing to paint it for me. Would be willing to pay of course. Translucent orange ones should be interesting, can't wait to see how those look.

As most know I don't make "black" ramps like many that were stock. I have done a couple for customers that wanted black by painting the underside of a clear ramp black. They actually turned out very well and extremely shiny. I painted them before they were machined simply so I would not have to do extensive masking and then machined to the finish product. At the time, the paint I used was a Krylon product called Fusion for Plastic. I was very impressed with this paint and was easy to apply. While I do not intend to offer painted ones, I may paint one just to show how they would look.

I am betting that Mark comes up with a really good looking transparent orange. The interesting thing about painting a clear one is that the originals had a black painted rim. I question how that would look on a clear ramp painted orange underneath. It's one of those details that I probably wouldn't reproduce. The original rims were sloppily painted and didn't look all that great. I think transparent orange would be a cosmetic upgrade which also opens up creative lighting possibilities.

I am running reproduction ramps for Guns 'n Roses now. Ramps will be clear PETG dyed transparent red and yellow. Detailed info, pricing and photos can be found in the Freeplay40 Ramps thread starting here.....

The G ramp includes new entrance flap and exit bracket. Does not include decal. Trap door mechanism from original ramp will need to be transferred to the new ramp.
The R ramp includes the entrance flap, switch bracket, exit bracket and new clear cover.
Mirco has announced they are currently reproducing the GnR playfield so I thought I would just drop a note here in case anyone is interested now in the new ramps. This is my third run of these and I doubt I will do them again anytime soon.
If you are interested in these let me know right away. I intend to cover everyone that I hear from in the 10 days or so.
I will contact everyone I have on my list as soon as they are available. Feel free to shoot me a pm if you are concerned about whether or not I have you on the list.
