Appreciate your interest. Yes I have been pretty low key here on Pinside. Since you've read the whole thread, you know I had some health issues that needed to be dealt with and I am pleased to say that I am now returning to much better health and more importantly more energy. Since my most recent surgery to rebuild my disconnected rib cage, I have been on a short leash with the doctors for adequate recovery time. Basically I was told to restrict activities until January. I think that was a stretch, but although I got a flu shot this year, i was still able to find it. This did slow me down yet again...the associated coughing wanted to rip apart the metal straps in my chest....but over the flu now and wanting to get back into development. I know I could sell a lot more if I went more public.
As far as marketing, my fellow Pinsiders have been my greatest support and at least up until now, I have been producing ramps at a comfortable pace which prior to my health maladies allowed me to continue to bring new ramps to the market...mostly focusing on what is simply not or never has been available. I do enjoy making the custom colored and clear ramps for those games that had black ABS ramps that are by now failing. I actually prefer not to reproduce any black ramps.
The Time Warp ramp is a very desired ramp, however the mold for it cannot be made with the current material I use for my molds....the mold has very thin parts which simply will not hold up with my current material. The original molds for these were machined out of aluminum for strength and much larger production runs. Simply not cost effective to have one made out of aluminum...however, there is a material that I hope to try for this some time soon that may fit the bill...we'll see on that one.
All that said.... I am presently making ramps on demand. High Speed, Hurricane and the Whirlwind lift ramp are readily available on short notice. I can do a red F-14, but I have discontinued the use of acrylic for ramps (I now dye PETG which is a much better plastic for ramps). I am set up with dye at the moment to do the blue ramps, but will set up for the red soon as I plan to do a run of Guns and Roses soon (R ramp).
I also offer assembly services for those not set up to do riveting for a fee for ramps like High Speed and Swords of Fury. Some ramps with just a couple unique pieces, I do the assembly for no fee with purchaser sending me the parts...Rocky and Bullwinkle WABAC ramp for example.
Probably first question is, are you set up to do riveting on High Speed? If not I can do that for you for a measly $20 with your parts sent to me....metal cleaned and polished.
