Sorry, should have said:
Replaced both ribbon cables
Reseated all chips i could on dmd board
Reads 5.03v on my fluke.
Not read that yet, but i was just looking at the schematics, its should be 6.8k.
I'll have a look later..

Okay so i test the resistor and it was fine, replaced thought what the heck..
Still no joy, looks like im going to have to use the DMD Extender.
No problems so far (fingers crossed)
Threw in an old 17" monitor and mounted it on some 6mm plywood job done
