This game is gonna give me an ulcer! Fixed one thing and now the display is showing garbage. I assumed it is the cable because I was able to get it to display fine with wiggling it a bit. Now it doesn’t display normally at all. I ordered a new ribbon cable and plugged it in and it does not work at all. Displays nothing. So I’m out of ideas. Displays garbage with old cable. Displays nothing with new cable. And with new cable it appears to effect the insert lighting. It doesn’t look like the lights flash smoothly in attract mode. I know this sounds strange but any suggestions are appreciated. The only thing is a new mpu board and Rom chip on the mpu. Would the Roms on the display board cause this? I attached a pic of what the dmd looks and a pic of the roms (for version installed) on the display board. Thanks for help.

Just figured it out! Wrong ribbon that’s bad. It’s the small one from display board to dmd. Not the ribbon from mpu to display board. Always something!
