So if I start a fresh game with no trapped balls and I end up up trapping a ball in either the tar pit or the volcano ball two does not serve into the shooter lane. I have to hit the side of the cabinet so it does it. If I trap both ball one and two this does not happen on ball three it serves into the shooter lane as it should. Thoughts?

Since this happens with both the Tar Pit and the Volcano, check the Trough switches, especially the one in the middle.

Thanks. I’ll give it a try later. I appreciate the pictures. I’m still learning the fun world of schematics.

For a switch to work 3 things are necessary
1) When open, there should be a small space between the contact points (duh)
2) When closing, the long blade's contact point should push the short blade's contact point enough to move the short blade
3) The contact points should be clean, which they usually will be if #2 is happening

This is when a ball is trapped in the volcano and should serve the 1st multi-ball but doesn’t

I could be wrong but it looks to me like I have to adjust the second switch. The two long leafs aren’t making contact
