I've been to the race in Austin three times and it's been a logistical nightmare. We couldn't park at the track (like every other of the 100+ races I've been to), maybe you need a special pass or permit or something. We had to shuttle from downtown and there was a huge wait to get on the shuttle, then when you got to the track you had to walk another mile to the gate. Then another huge wait to get back on the shuttle to get dropped off back downtown after the race. It's cool to go once but I probably would go again. Hopefully it's not raining while you are waiting for a shuttle.
