    Quoted from john32:

Only thing I can tell you is to watch the 2004-2007 ford f150.. then have been known to have engines problems around 100,000 miles.

I've been a Ford guy since I bought my first truck (1982 Ford stepside) back in 1992. I've got an '07 F-150 4x4 and it currently has a 1/4 of a million miles on it (*All Texas miles with the exception of a handful of casino runs to Louisiana). The "engine problems" it (could) have had is when you go to change your plugs. I hear sometimes the plugs break off because people don't maintain their vehicles as they should, and wait too long to change them. I have had zero issues with this truck (including changing my plugs when due), and it still runs like a champ! Many say I've gotten lucky, but I just say I've taken care of it.
