For sale: The Hobbit Smaug LE

Added: May 10th, 2017 Re-listed: 1 time Ended: August 4th, 2017
Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Item description

I am interested in selling or trading my Hobbit SE to mix up my collection. I am the original owner - purchased in October 2016. This version has all of the factory fixes - upgraded ramp flaps, pop-up mylar, pop-up ball trap fix, upgraded left wireform. Game plays and looks great with zero issues.

Take a look at my wishlist for games I may be interested in. I only have room for 1 game, so it would need to be a 1 to 1 trade +/- cash.

Pics are with invisiglass on. Happy to take additional pics upon request.

Price lowered. Primarily interested in selling the game versus trading (unless you have a Dialed In! to trade).

Wish I could keep the game, but need the space. I really feel it is a fantastic game, but it is my least favorite out of the machines I own (up against some steep competition in my small collection).

You should change the title to Hobbit Smaug LE. (People might assume SE = Standard Edition, which it is not). Great price for an HUO Smaug!

Thanks for the tip!!! Title updated

Weekend bump.

I have had some nice trade offers (one of which I am entertaining), but I would still prefer an outright sale.

Price drop to $7200. Game is in awesome condition and only has about 200 plays on it.

Heading into the weekend bump.

My ad will be expiring at the end of this week, at which point I am going to put this to rest for a while...

Once last price drop to $7100 before this ad expires.

I dont understand the lack of interest in your Hobbit. A few months ago I tried selling mine and did not get any interest either? Its crazy. I was in a spot where I needed money and glad it didnt sel now. I like the game and I am shocked at your machine still being for sale at a good price. Good luck.

It's a really good price. I did see a guy put his up for $6,800 and it looked like it sold right away, I think his was an LE. Not saying you should do that, $7,100 is not a bad price at all and I am surprised no one has jumped on it. I would jump on a 7k Smaug.

I sold my Smaug a couple months ago at $7300 so I think your asking price of $7100 is a good one. There are so many new pins announced right now that I think its a little harder to sell anything thats 7K or higher. That may explain why your Smaug is still available. Its certainly not because you are priced too high but rather a portion of those potential buyers are looking to by a new release (NIB). Good luck!

This is my guess as well. Lots of new games, and it seems like summertime is always a little slower. In the end, I really want to buy a Dialed In. They will be for sale for quite some time, so I think I will be best suited to just put this to rest for a while and revisit it in several months. Thankfully I really like the Hobbit, so it won't be a big inconvenience to hold onto longer .

I bought one less than a month ago. It is a super fun game that will make somebody very happy. Enjoy it until the winter and then attempt to sell it again.

It's summer, things are sloooooooow...

Wait until fall when everybody's suddenly bored with their collection

Also don't forget there should be another code drop eventually
