Game - for trade

For Trade or Sale: Stern Quicksilver

Added: 2020-09-22 20:47:44 UTC • Ended: October 7th, 2020
Condition: Used - shows wear, needs some work

Price

Trade
Listed at $ 4,000

Check out these videos for a closer look after it was wiped down.

I'm going to post it at $4000 and see what happens. If you were to replace the playfield and back glass this could be a very valuable machine. I'm not willing to do the work, I just enjoy playing pinball.

I'm interested mainly in trades. A really great/good condition Data East Jurassic Park(93') would be ideal...but any good themed 90s - 2020 machine would work as well. I'm also willing to put down some money if the table is worth more. I just want 1 nice table to finish out my game room. Check my wish list on here for more specific machines.

Just let me know if you're interested and what you have. Thanks!

Well...just a thought. The condition of the machine does not command your asking price. You mention how it could be a valuable machine if the playfield and backglass were replaced, it is priced as if that were already done. That cab paint job is hurting the price as well.
Quite a few of us would love to know what this actually sells for, please keep us up to date.

he is new and just trying to get the most he can so he can buy a working pin. i think he has a good heart but does not understand what it would take to get this thing were it needs to be. What is it really worth? $3k?

Quickslivers don't grow on trees. Let's see what this goes for.

Am I mistaken or has someone painted the cabinet completely red?

Yeah but if you just replace that, the backglass, and the playfield you could have a very valuable machine!

Doorbell gotta be worth something

I think 3k is a stretch. The issue is now you can build one with the available with parts.
I see everyone wants big money lately, but geez most machines are at a doubled asking price of true value.
Thinking this covid19 happening and people not working drove prices up.

I'm just about completely done with building my Star Gazer. I believe my final total will be just sub $3k, thanks in large part to a $200 donor game that I was able to use the cabinet, coin door, and transformer from. That being said it has been a ton of work. So yes, those that can do those things will save money, those that can't though or don't want to, which I totally understand after having done it may want to buy something like this.

Edit: I also got a "2nd" quality playfield from John for the Star Gazer which I still think looks amazing and had a friend clearcoat it for free so lots of little budget savers on the project really.

Looks like a great project for someone with some time. How many hours do you think it would take to restore?
