For Sale/Trade: Iron Man Classic

Added: February 9th, 2020 Re-listed: 1 time (June 29th, 2020) Ended: July 6th, 2020
Condition: HUO - Undocumented (Home Used Only)

Item description

Weird machine, but working and in great shape! Essentially the same game as Iron Man. I'll list as many differences as I can, but there may be a couple that I'm not aware of.

No War Machine kickback
No Whiplash magnet or figure
Incandescent GI, LED inserts
Pressboard cab with allen bolts
Boards in cabinet, protected with plastic
Blank coin door, no coin mechs...free play only!
T-molding instead of rails
Cabinet decals are undersized

Only issue specific to this machine is one corner of mylar lifting in the pop bumpers. Included a relevant photo.

Cash is fine, but interested in trades too. Happy to +- cash as necessary.

I’ve never seen this before - pretty cool.

Interesting piece of history. I played one of these at Abt, a Chicago-area electronics & appliance superstore that gets probably over a thousand visitors per day. It was on free play and absolutely trashed.

Very cool. Have not seen one of these for sale in a decade or so.

I wonder how many of these were even manufactured. My guess is 400. They do not come up often but another one did pop up for sale on Pinside recently (within the last two weeks).

It’s definitely a weird machine, but a lot of bang for your buck. Just lent it to a buddy for a few months and got it back when he upgraded to a Star Wars Pro.
