Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean
This is a 1987 Bally Dungeons and Dragons, which was the last game Bally made before merging with Williams. Only 2,000 were made. I did a ton of work to this one and now I’m ready to trade it for something else.
-Comes with the rare and highly sought after topper, which is in full working order. These toppers sell for $500 on their own. (I’m not willing to sell the topper individually, btw; it’s a package deal.)
-All incandescent bulbs have been replaced with LEDs, including color-matched inserts. If you’ve ever replaced the wedge lamps on a Bally of this era, you know what an ordeal that is.
-Brand-new rubber bands throughout.
-Plastics are original and pretty much perfect.
-Flippers have been rebuilt.
-Boards are in full working order.
-Game works without issue.
-The cabinet is chipped in a few places. I’ve included a picture of the worst area. Ballys of this era were made of MDF, so this is a fairly common issue.
-It's missing the pop bumper cap.
-The playfield looks great … underneath the factory mylar, which is bubbling and lifting in a few areas. If you wanted to remove the mylar, you would have a beautiful playfield underneath it. I just didn’t want to take the chance of messing up the paint.
I’m looking to trade, and I’ll add or accept cash to balance things out. I’m generally interested in early 1980s machines, particularly those with low productions runs. I’m specifically interested in the following machines, which I’ve broken down by manufacturer.
-Centaur or Centaur II
-Baby Pac-Man (preferably in full working order; I know these can be basket cases)
-Granny and the Gators (see Baby Pac-Man)
-Eight Ball Deluxe or EBD Limited Edition
-Transporter: The Rescue
-Asteroid Annie and the Aliens
If you have something you think I might be interested in (especially something uncommon) please drop me a line. Pick-up only, please; I’m not willing to ship. Fortunately, my schedule is pretty flexible recently due to the late unpleasantness. Thanks for reading!
