I also have an insanely nice Modded to the hilt Metallica LE - METLE #497 of 500 that I would consider trading.

If you haven't go play a Batman 66 first. For me, Dark Knight is the better Batman pin.

Besides, you know you will want another MET MOPLE. The one you sold me will never leave

BM66 really

#8 6 years ago

Really, you did play your DI right?

#9 6 years ago

I have a small collection so I rotate games often, DI is an awesome game with a brilliant layout that will be hard to let go, but I will own it again down the road.
(I just picked up my 6th MM)

As for BM66 I watched the show when I was a kid, I was in on the game when it was first announced but when I saw how sparse the code was and some of the other issues with the playfield layout and toys I bailed, the game seems pretty fun now so I figured I would give it a try.

I think your logic is sound. Batman66 LE's will probably be harder to get in the future than a Dialed In LE will be.

And the b66 trolls can't help themselves.

Since the recent code updates, my b66 gets played significantly more than the DILE sitting next to it. No bias, not trying to prove anything (since I own both), just the decision I make every time I go into the games room.

#12 6 years ago

Smart move Concrete, its excellent on its way to awesomeness! You can always get those others back.

Hardly a BM66 troll here. And while, there is such a thing as a "swarm effect" among humans, I hardly think that it applies in this case. At Marvelous Marvins here in Michigan, DI and BM66 are two games apart from each other with a GOTG in between them. I honestly don't think that it's hyperbole to say that DI is at least 5X the game and 5X the fun of BM66. Can't even really enjoy BM66 as loop shots toward the ball lock fly out of the loop up to switches at the top of the playfield (where you do the supposed "skill shot"), the ball constantly getting stuck in the lazy Susan, and the flimsy left ramp. Game just feels cheap, cheap, cheap. Stern gets the best themes and squanders way too many of them.

The left ramp is definitely flimsy on BM 66 I would definitely get on the list for the new upgraded ramp that is listed here on Pinside, I have no idea what Stern could have been thinking when they sent out the game with a left ramp set up like that.

Ok for you fine but DI is not 5x the game nor 5x the fun for me and I would buy a BM66 over DI, this isn't a comparison thread.

Wtf are you talking about?

Edit: The unfortunate baggage that B66 carries stems from a completely botched launch. Most people who are trolling the game have played it on early code, probably on location on a game not setup properly. Play this game in a home environment, properly setup and with current code, and it's a completely different animal. But most people won't do that and will forever troll this game. Doesn't really matter I guess, since owners are enjoying what is quickly becoming a super solid game. And as Hazoff said it's about fun - something b66 has in spades. Sorry Concretehardt for the de-rail.

Sorry that it's unclear to you. If you want the nutshell version, BM66 sucks balls.

Lol. Nice.

I meant this......I literally have no idea what you're talking about since none of those things apply to my game:

But it's ok, it's your loss.

Sorry about that. I thought you were coming off like a jerk, so I replied in kind.

At launch couldn't agree more, 6 months after release I wouldn't disagree with you all that much either.

But as of October this year, I disagree! If the one local to you on route hasn't been updated to at least V0.80 (Octobers code release) then that's a big part of the problem your having with that particular game and honestly its not going to impress you all that much or change your view, but as of Oct Lyman has basically started performing the same thing he did with TWD.

Get some time on a BM66 that is dialled in (excuse the pun) and updated to the latest code and I think it would change your current view unless of course you hate the theme, oh and cant argue with the fact your right about the left ramp, it blows which is why the community are making a replacement.

Guess I will do a little modding while I wait to see if an LE deal pops up, time to install my new blue chrome candy shooter rod. I have to say I am strongly considering buying a BM66 Premium and keeping DI and METLE but it will be a tight fit in the game room

Do you? Clearly as usual it’s a consider the source moment

I have had some interesting trade offers, but I think I am going to pull my add down and hold onto to DI for now. I would really like to own both BM and DI side by side! I may need to get rid of my pool table to make room.
Ps. I highly recommend Chrome candy’s shooter rods!
