The Westin currently has rooms at $219 a night ($250 with tax) from 7/26 -7/30. I post this because originally the rooms were going for about $400 a night without the group rate. This hotel is connected directly to the convention center and allows you to store "refreshments" within a 5 minute walk.
Looks like there is a group rate for the omni as well. Never stayed in the burg. Anyone have tips on where to stay.
I really enjoyed the convenience of the Westin. There is a good breakfast and Starbucks within the hotel. I think it is about $60-70 more than the Omni but I wanted my alcohol within short distance of the event. They have a bar at replay fx but there seemed to always be a long line and prices are high for a Midwest guy
