Hahaha thanks. I was close quite a few times, but would always get hung up on completing rescue. I also started probably 1000+ games, but if I drained early, or started the wrong multiball I would simply start over. Hence the high started games, but only a few hundred completed. I remember playing it consecutively for a full month, and when I finally got to SOTR It almost seemed to lose its mystique....more so because I knew I would probably never get back to SOTR and every game on it since then has been somewhat disappointing. The whole SOTR sequence is incredible though, and definitely an awesome goal to work towards!

Yea, it caught me by surprise when I finally saw it. I did a little research and apparently cliffy makes a protector, but at that point it was too late for mine. Luckily it’s not an expensive playfield and someone can install the cliffy if they decide to switch it out. It’s such a great pin all around, it will definitely be missed!

Haha ain’t that the truth. I had an 11 million point game on the high score records. I think I made it through 8 movie modes, 1.5 Smaug kills and probably lasted 40-50 min. I’m so thankful of the code update because it made a big difference. It’s a game that definitely requires some time to play!

Updated ad with new price. I had an almost full price offer but they needed roughly 6-7 weeks for pickup, which may be a little late for my purposes. There was 3 offers of $8kea, with varying pick up times, so just to try and be fair to everyone, I met in the middle on price at $8200 and will give a month for pickup. I would hold the game with a $250 non refundable deposit (refundable if there is an issue with the pin, or isn’t as I’ve described) and can help load the game. It would basically be ready to go at the front door and we can load in your vehicle.

Any repair guys interested in a WOZRR? I need my LOTRLE fixed and would be willing to discount my WOZRR in trade for getting my LOTR running. Something happened to the right flipper when I installed upgraded coils and accidentally left the diode on, even though it’s already in line. I think it may be something simple like transistor, but soldering the board once was enough for me.

I hear ya, I just need someone/anyone to repair my LOTR and wanted to leave the option there in case someone has the know-how and was looking for a WOZRR.

My pricing may be skewed a bit since I had a $8400 offer right away, but they couldn’t pick up for 6-7 weeks so I passed. $8k May be the number eventually, but it’s definitely not $7k like the guy who made the 90 minute ride to my house last night did. We had agreed to $8100 and when he showed up, first thing he said was “I actually couldn’t get 8, but I have 7 right now and can take it”. He was upset when I said no, and I even offered to let him pay the balance by CC, but he refused. Called me again 5 min down the road and said he had a few extra hundred, but I told him I already left to see endgame and wasn’t going to be back until late. It was definitely a strange negotiation tactic and I felt bad,
But $1100 is quite a difference and not even in the realm of reasonable. Oh well, at least I get to keep playing it for a while longer...

Haha right? Clearly he must’ve been successful with it some point because he seemed truly flabbergasted that I said no. Oh well, at least he got a nice scenic ride out of it yesterday.
