This has been my tinkering game for awhile. Have some new projects so time to move on...

Electronically it is pretty sound.. following was done, some by me and rest as I sent the boards out.

Power supply:
New connector headers
Replaced diodes D7 and D8 with beefier diodes (originals are undersized)
Replaced zener diodes Z2 and Z4 with 1N4763 zener diodes (reduces display voltage from 100 to 91 volts to prolong display life)
Replaced resistors R2 and R5 with 1.2K ohm resistors (recommended by Williams in service bulletin)
All new caps installed

Driver:
New connector headers
New 40 pin female connector
Replaced 8 lamp column transistors with MOSFETs and 8 resistors with zero ohm jumpers (reduces backbox heat)
Replaced 8 switch matrix resistors with zero ohm jumpers (makes switches more responsive, and board can now be used in all System 3 - System 7 games)
Replaced 2 2N6427 transistors (2 lamp columns were not working)
Replaced 1 Tip120 transistor with a TIP102 (solenoid not working)

MPU:
Replaced connector headers including 40 pin connector
Replaced 2 game ROMs with new EPROMs
Replaced flipper ROM 2 with new EPROM
Replaced socket and installed NVRAM

Sound board:
Replaced connector headers
Replaced Scanbe brand 40 pin IC sockets for processor and PIA
Replaced AMI brand PIA with new PIA
All new caps

Top side tear down was done. All new red playfield posts installed. All switches cleaned, top and bottom. Took apart most mechs and cleaned coil sleeves and links (or just replaced them if they were shot) Some new coil stops added on flippers along with new coil sleeves. All new bulbs on top side.

Have manual.

It's a player. Fun game.

Trades welcome for other WMS system 3-7 pins or projects

And back for sale... Illinois pending “stay at home quarantine” that was issue today made buyer back off... says still wants it when over but you never know (especially since this was off FB and not a pinsider)...

If anyone wanted to make an offer on this minus the MPU, driver board and power supply I would let it go very cheap.
