Gorgeous machine. Bump and GLWTS.

With only 40 some plays on it, it had better be gorgeous.

So basically these Ruby Red editions are safe to buy, meaning they have the new light boards, new play fields, but are decaled?? Correct?

Yes.

Yes but they are missing the warranty. JJP is not transferring warranty on used equipment. A cowardly move IMHO.

#7 9 years ago

I guess the guys at Stern pinball are a bunch of cowards too? Have you read the terms and conditions of their warranty recently? Why do they get a pass?

I swear this forum is filled with the most people with short attention spans i've ever seen. Never seen so many "under 50 plays" games in all my life. I've put on 47 games on a machine in one sitting before. Hasn't even been played enough to know if it sucks or not. Is it people buying for investment, realizing it's a piss poor investment to buy? or just a bunch of ADD cases?

Super nice looking pin. The ruby red powder coat looks incredible.

LOL I meant that the Ruby Red WOZ is gorgeous in general, regardless of the amount of plays. I love it.

You would think.
I just don't understand sales like this, all that money for a machine and you play it 40 times?
I think every new machine I get gets at least 40 plays the first day.

I had one play on my RFM last night..... lasted so long I got 1 Billion points as my score....

Maybe that person was so good they just had like 42 EPIC games.

Third option:
These 42 games were played the first day.
Enter the Wife "What's the hell is this thing? Didn't we say no more pins in the House?"
Exit the Pin.

Actually it was bought for his wife who never played it.

Sounds about right. Im borrowing one right now and my wife said "when is this going away". I said "may some time". She replied "are we getting one" to which I said "why, so you can put 2-3 games on it a month?" "I would rather have lebowski for this money"....and so on. Womens be crazy.

My wife and daughter asked me a few days ago why we don't have one, so I'm thinking about it, but don't know where I can put it since my wife will not allow any pins upstairs.

#17 9 years ago

this should sell fast. looks so cherrY!!!

Maybe CaptainNeo is more from the "Exit the Wife" school!

Or they're doing a full code update after a few hundred games...

Awesome pin! Worth every penny.

I think this is it more than anything. Probably definitely more than 50 plays. But in any case. Can you tell the difference between a game played 200 times and 50? I sure the hell can't and nobody else can either.

I bought mine for my wife also...and she's never played it either
Ha, no chance I'm selling mine....game is amazing

LOL...well, the lifetime column NEVER resets even after software updates. I guess you could replace the whole OS and/or HD to reset it?

#24 9 years ago

I'm pretty sure mine did on my last full update when I went to 3.0. I had about 700 plays on it at that point, and I'm now over 1000 - pretty sure I have closer to 2000 plays on mine.

Still looks perfect, btw...

#25 9 years ago

yup, I don't think I even own a game anymore that has less than 1000 plays on it. I don't think anything has less than 2000 or 3000 actually. Most of the NIB still look mint, and the restored ones look pretty damn new as well.
