Quoted from PinMonk:And honestly, after the JJP discount and selling the old light boards that still work, the 2.0 upgrade ends up being a few hundred dollars and 6-8 hours of time. Totally worth doing for the stability.
Its really amazing in person...photos don't do it justice....I agree on the 2.0 system, but the 7.5V buffered have been pretty reliable, and haven't been in an issue in my environment....the 6-8 hours is what I don't have....I wonder what this game would be worth with the 2.0 upgrade?
Quoted from gearheaddropping:An ECLE with the 2.0 light boards and the 75th Anniversary Topper would be the pinnacle WOZ available IMHO. Not sure why the RR gets more love, but it does. None of the RR had the direct print cabinets.
I've owned both and its not even close....personally the JJP toppers are kind of whatever in my mind....
