Because if you saw the real asking price you would laugh so hard you may hurt yourself.
Prices have sky rocketed lately to just crazy prices. Or the price gouging is on a new rise.
I wish I had deeper pockets but I'm just not that lucky.
Let the machines sit and collect warehouse dust until they figure out that it's not worth the price they ask and bring it back down to reality.
