Price

$ 6,500

This game has been in my home gameroom since unboxing.
I am selling this machine to upgrade to the CE!

It has been cleaned and waxed regularly, balls changed frequently, and has brand new sleeves on all flippers for great flipper response!

Upgrades:

- Cliffy inlane drop protectors
- Titan flipper rubbers (glow on bottom, pink on top, will include spares)
- JJP shaker motor
- JJP airball protector for right ramp

UPDATE: I have repaired the three areas showing clearcoat pooling and chipping using the @yelobird technique. They have been flattened, sealed with mylar, and topped with Titan playfield washers. The three photos at the end of the set show post-repair.

Game is upstairs but I will move it downstairs with my Escalera for easy ground-floor driveway loading.

Note: Not interested in trades at this time.

agreed! great and fun game, but the playfield issues are what is hurting us collectors on resale of these.

the issues are pretty minor. If you have pooling, do what Yelobird suggested with the iron, works perfectly, then add a neoprene washer. If you have a chip, that's another issue. What I see in the pics on this game are easily fixable.

Full disclosure: The right sling has pooling that has not chipped. Also the left rubber. The star post on the left sling does have chipping around it.
All of this is in the photos as closeup and clear as I could get.

I have some Titan playfield washers for covering and containing this. Soft washers were quite successful at making this a non-issue on my POTC.

Per JJP's recommendation, I have not removed any posts yet but will gladly install the washers for the buyer on request.

Problem is Zaph will have to warn the eventual buyer that if he ever risks moving or taking off a post it may chip off the CC and art. "Ironing" won't help then and you can't "iron" it unless you take the risk of lifting the posts. Catch-22

I guess you could just add washers here and there if it chips in the future.

Well, this was a discussion I was planning to have with the buyer in person...but since this thread has gone all clearcoatgate on me...

My distributor has requested one on my behalf, but I do not have it in-hand. Because I don't have it in hand, I don't want to promise it as a part of the sale. If I do indeed get a replacement I will make sure the buyer gets it.

I bought a used le that had pooling and pulled all posts up and flattened them out.. then added rubber and nylon washers. The post came right up like normal and caused no damage or anything close . I've did others and know people who did the same with no issues causing any more damage. New buyers sld not b worried ..in most cases it sld be easy to fix/cover up with washers.

With the nicest seller you could find probably the only negative to this game sale would be the the challenge of topping his Wife’s high scores on this game.

You are too kind. . I relayed your comments to Susan who was very amused and proud.

Her GC of 4.3 still stands and she blew out my 2.9 #1 score the other night with a 3.8.

I just got a new Wonka SE, build date 10/31 and the playfield is perfect.I think JJP ran a few SE's and
LE's before running a line of CE's.No pooling or chipping anywhere it's great!

I just got one as well as well 10/30 build date. Picked up at JJP. There was a small SE run. CE started Monday. I thought they would do Stern remedy with no decal around posts. They did not. No pooling issues at all. It amazes me how JJP games have little to no dimpling as well.

I performed the Yelobird "playfield iron" technique tonight on the three areas showing pooling (the two slings and the left bumper.)

The areas were flattened with the iron, which worked amazingly, then sealed with mylar rings from @vireland. Finally, Titan playfield washers were put on top.
