Damn good price. Really wish this was within a 5 hour drive, I'd be picking it up. Surprised this hasn't sold already. My wife and I played a Wonka se at a local barcade and really enjoyed it.

Have you put any time against Wonka? I think you’ll find the video clip “issue” is really overblown.

Which Kaneda opinion do you agree with, the one where he said Wonka is going to be the second coming with the most unique mechanisms the hobby has ever seen? Or the one where he says it's a terrible game that needs to play a DVD while he plays cuz he just can't stomach it otherwise? And of course you'd be a complete idiot to disagree with either one of his hyperbolic verbal diarrhea rants.

All seriousness this game needs less movie clips, not more. IS IT RAINING IS IT POURING I CAN'T SING AND THIS MOVIES BORING

Animations are great, more of that please.

Well, Honestly I should not be judging this game as I only played it 1-2 times. That being said, I like high adrenaline games and this game is a granny’s dream, second to only Dialed my grandmother. I have watched over 3 hours of video and those sound effects are terrible. That being said, if this game is awesome, I will publicly apologize and give it the write up review it deserves. Either way, I spoke with Frankmac and what a great guy..........honest, straight forward and a pinhead we should all aspire to be! Look forward to picking this game up and being proven wrong.......Go Wonka!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised! I was. It took about an hour of gameplay before it got its hooks into me, and it still does.

The sounds/music really do work when you're playing - it is somehow different watching on a stream.

I would certainly consider buying one at this price with bubbling posts if it was closer. Any chance that Jack helps out a secondary buyer given the circumstances? Or do you just accept that you may have a bare playfield after 1000 plays because you got a 1K discount?

I think it's possible that the ripples will hold. Mine have not budged and we are approaching 3000 plays.

Probably 2-3? The wife plays too. We are both playing hard, practicing and trying to improve.

Our POTC has somewhere around 3300...It shows 1100 now and had around 2200 when I lost settings on an upgrade. (I always back up now!)
That's not even counting the second POTC I had when I worked in CA...that one sold with 1432 plays on it.

Our new Jurassic Park has over 500 on it in like 2 weeks.

So...yeah...we're into this thing.

I had the same opinion when I played in public, but for some reason at home it just works. i Don’t listen to podcasts, so when people said there was complaints about the movies clips and how many there are, I couldn’t understand because it seems like quite a few are in the game. I’ve also reached pretty deep into the game and it does a good job of spreading the movies clips throughout. I really wasn’t sure I would like the pin at first, but it has absolutely grown on me, to where it’s towards the top of my list. Hope you enjoy yourself!
