For sale: White Water

Added: October 2nd, 2018 Ended: October 7th, 2018
Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Item description

Super Nice original Williams White Water pinball machine.

Has a cracked boulder garden boulder, but I have a replacement that's included. The ramp entrances are also cracked but not terrible and I have the Mantis protectors for them which are also included along with a rubber kit, manual, and some replacement green targets. I also installed a protector where the ball kicks up to the upper playfield.

One of the nicest non-restored games you'll see. Located in Buford, GA.

I'm beginning to think no one does anymore If a seller wants top dollar, clean the game, replace broken parts, especially if you have them in hand. This is a really nice, dirty, used game that needs attention.

One of the connectors is fried.

Super nice deal!

Very nice playing example of White Water and one of the better folks you'll meet in this hobby.
Good luck with the sale Paul!

I have someone coming on Sunday to inspect it before purchasing it. I'll let everyone know if the sale doesn't happen.

I always clean my games up before selling but I don’t see this as “top dollar” at all.

This game will sell, don't get me wrong. I'm simply stating that many collectors don't take the time to clean, rebuild and dial in a game the proper way. This game has a Pinside avg. price of 4400.00. This particular one looks filthy, has parts that are on hand to replace broken stuff. Yet the repairs aren't done, which from experience tells me the machine need a complete tear down, mechs rebuilt, ramps, switches that are cracked, and without question, other hidden stuff. So why is this on the high end? 20-30 hours to shop a WH2O and rebuild mechs etc. buying parts and your talking a lot of time and extra money. To me, that time is money and parts are obviously too. That's all I'm saying.

That's your opinion, and many of the things you say about the pin itself is true. Keep in mind the Pinside avg price is across the US, and the prices you see in the northeast are lower due to availability which is MUCH higher than WH2O's availability in the southeast. Additionally any WH2O I've seen on Pinside in the last 6 months has been over $5500, and the only other WH2O on Pinside right now is at that $5500, and it's looks to be in similar/slightly worse shape than this one.

From what I see this one is priced right on the money for the market here in the southeast US.....

I think that you guys complaining about shopping are missing the point. This has the original unfaded cabinet. Thats really rare with this title. The topper is not bubbling. Again, rare. The playfield is not ragged out. These are the types of things that, once damaged, can't be replaced. Playfields can be cleaned, ramps and boulders can be replaced. Toppers cannot be replaced. This game would be pretty easy to clean up so I'd take this over a faded cab, with bubbling in the topper and a worn down playfield, but shopped with new ramps and boulders, any day.

This price is great.

I’ve seen many go for much higher and aren’t in this condition.

It needs shopped w new rubbers but isn’t as dirty as some are saying. Wh20 is a bitch to shop. That prob why it hasn’t been done. Don’t blame the seller at all.

Generally the ones bitching about price are the ones with the pin on their want list. I know cause I do the same thing

Fair enough, points taken. Good luck with the sale op, I probably should not have started a discussion on this sale thread, my bad. This game will look real nice once cleaned and complete.

#16 1 year ago

I'd be selling that topper separately for that price.

People are out of your minds. This is a great buy.

Smart people would buy the machine at this price, spend a little effort to shop some of the things noted here and then grab a beer to celebrate a great buy.

#18 1 year ago

I don't mind getting a dirty game, it allows me to tear down and see whats going on with the game and make sure its up to par with my standards. And considering there were two for sale recently in my general area that said they were full restores and clearly weren't and both were 6K+ i'd say this is a great deal for someone.

I have played this machine and it is a nice game being sold by an honest seller. Buy with confidence.
