Yup, I'd have to agree, I'm in no place to buy another pin now but White Water would be one of them if I could. I'm not fanatical like some people but I do like a decent playfield and insert wear bothers me. Its kind of like if it has insert wear, I'm not really going to go crazy on the other stuff. So I think many people are just having a hard time with the new ramps and whatnot and paying up for those when my first thoughts would be I need to have a new playfield put in (don't know if these are even available and if they are I'm sure they are 1K plus) or have it repaired and that isn't cheap either.
EDIT: Apparently the playfield is available about 1150 or so shipped. Maybe add in the playfield and sell it for 6500.

I should probably bring the kids, they won't pressure me either. It was only their favorite game at Pinfest.
I'm just pretty happy with my Comet project right now. Can probably keep my mind off purchasing for a bit. Sure looks nice though. Maybe I'll buy a scratch off tomorrow, see if it's fate.
I think you guys are way over reacting - that looks like a super nice playfield to me. Probably plays like butter.

Look closer..... there is a significant amount on the raft inserts, lock inserts, left orbit insert(really bad) and some insert edge wear on many others. Other than that its a nice pin with nice upgrades but insert wear is a big deterrent when paying a premium for a title.

I got the rare “Get the extra ball, ya wiener!” Call out the other day. Have never heard that one out of my machine!
This could be my favorite game. Like putting a puzzle together on the fly. Best non-licensed theme of the B/W era. Love the sounds.
