McGavin's shooter lane is just fine. The fact that HEP's eyes first went straight to the shooter lane, while everyone else admired the immaculate gloss, tells me he might have messed up on earlier playfields from oversanding, introducing erratic ball behavior when plunging and leaving a permanent mark in his brain to which he now knows to look specifically at that. The plunger on Indy is one set speed and the ball rolls great from start to finish, if it was a manual plunger I would not have sanded as deep but then there would be a lot of exposed dirt, it's all a tradeoff and preference. Would you rather prefer this painted over? It looks terrible, at least feather in the paint if you have the skill. And that machine sold for $11k. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some pieces of shit to nibble on.
