I have a $30k Whitewater for sale. I'll take pictures next week.

Ok op, admit it, this is a joke

Early retirement?

Quoted from Haymaker:

Nah I was just too lazy, its pretty often that I don't punctuate the end of my sentences on a forum but I always have energy to poke fun at people, especially when they are really sensitive about it

Yea either that or its the one place you have a voice thats heard. Better yet would be to flex your internet muscle and feel like a man. Most here won't know the difference.

SOB ... my Whitewater budget was 29k

Quoted from pbwiz:

Is that a requirement of Pinside to avoid getting trolled?

More or less, yes. We as collective hobbyists have been burned in scams and bad deals too many times to accept a sight-unseen purchase, especially one for a delusional asking price.

#57 11 months ago

Put it on Bring a Trailer and you might have a chance.

My bipolar self is in conflict:

Left brain: You're entitled to ask whatever you want. Price police are hypocrites.
Right brain: You're out of your mind, seeking some fool to actually believe the hype you're slinging.

Imagine being so mad you first have to make up a lie about why something happened, and then coping this hard after. I cannot imagine being this fragile.

If you're not going to make any sense then I can't carry on a conversation with you. I imagine you could measure ones fragility with the number of downvotes they cast. Do you think you would be high on that list? If you choose to reply, remember to make sense.

Guys... is it possible that op thinks diamond plate means it is made with actual dimaonds?

#63 11 months ago
Quoted from pbwiz:

Ok so why ask then..
Just to be lame I guess

the only lame one is you for asking 15k for a 5k pin

#64 11 months ago

I think the OP is going for the lowest approval rating on Pinside. He is down to single digits. Impressive!!!

#65 11 months ago

I’m not selling pictures. So if you want to buy a pinball machine please reply.

News flash, you're not going to be selling a pinball machine either....

#67 11 months ago
Quoted from SteelTigers:

Considering that very early production WW (about 200) playfields were cleared with DP, which in this case was a very early prototype urethane formula by Dupont, proved to be problematic and was pulled from SP's production line. While revisions to the DP formula was made and tested on a few other titles during and after WW, it wasn't perfected until 2 years later. Is that a selling point for your particular example? Maybe, maybe not...

Are there any of photos of problematic early diamond plated playfields? The DP playfields I've seen for Whirlwind have held up very well, especially the inserts.

Diamond Plate has electrolytes. It’s what plants crave.

I can do $5,000

#72 11 months ago

Ah, a successful attempt to draw attention via a viral ad to the shitty just-announced 2.0 release. Well played!

#73 11 months ago

I’m not easily impressed, but wow! This is an amazing feat…

It would appear that he has bailed from his own thread. Must be super motivated to sell.

I own a DP plate WW
I’ll say that the playfields hold up extremely well
Is it worth his asking? No, but more than the avg WW
GLWTS

And here I sold my perfect condition, diamond-plate Whirlwind a few days ago for $4500. I am such a bonehead!

The worst thing I can find on the PF is a screwdriver mark shaped like a phillips in the shooter lane. Somebody did that after it was originally sold. It’s got cabinet decals too.

Are the decals for Whirlwind or some other random game? Never can tell in this thread.

Also, diamonds are harder than steel so how does a screwdriver penetrate a diamond plated playfield??

Inquiring minds want to know…

A Whirlwind for sale ad that both sucks and blows.

That's quite the paradox.

Who said the screwdriver was steel?
Maybe it's a diamond screwdriver.........................

Heeeeyyyyyyy...I recognize Simpsons references.

BTW...Norm was the best.

Quoted from NPO:

I dunno...maybe the OP is onto something.
I should experiment and list my pins for 3x the going rate. Hey, if I get a hit, I get a hit!!!
So.....
$33K for TAF
$30K for AFM
$21K for JP Pro
You know what they look like. Get lost if you want pictures!!!

Met NPO at Texas Pinball festival, Great guy. I stand behind this seller and his prices! GLWS but not so much for the OP.
