Game - for sale

For sale: Volcano (Gottlieb, 1981) Very nice

Added: 2016-05-24 20:28:08 UTC • Ended: May 29th, 2016
Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Price

$ 1,200

Nice game, factory mylar playfield so wear is at a minimum to outside areas. Game works and plays fast and excellent, just plug and play. Spinner rips and the ball travels fast. This has a prototype latest revision blue Niwumpf board set in it, which is currently not available for sale elsewhere (and may not be)
Cabinet very good, backglass is okay, one side part flaked off but can't really see it behind the other glass. Very cool game.

STI shipping okay, and check my other threads for more system 80
Pictures soon,
thanks, James

This is on my System 80 list to own, just not a good time for me. Free bump though!

Love the backglass on this one! GLWS

Does this need the system 80 ground mods?

Quoted from Wickerman2:

Does this need the system 80 ground mods?

The ground mods are only necessary on system 80 because it relies on one ground that is daisy chained, so if it fails in the connector, the ''mods'' then become the back up insurance. Having good ground/pins at your connectors is always step one.

With that said, I have done no grounding mods with this one and have had no issues whatsoever.

The other cool thing about this board set is, if you roll the score it strobes through your 7 digit score on the original 6 digit displays. Pretty neat feature.

Great game. Super fast for a wide body. Better then Devils Dare, Haunted house and Black Hole in my opinion.
