For Sale: VHTF Ringer by Williams

Added: July 23rd, 2018 Ended: July 29th, 2018

Item description

I have owned this hard to find machine for about 10 years and the family has loved playing it. This is a game where 2 players spin the wheel and by doing so toss the horseshoe for points scored, 1 point in the pit, 2 points for a leaner and 3 points for a ringer. Considering the machine is almost 50 years old it is in excellent cosmetic condition for its age as the pictures show and fully working. I do have the black wooden legs for it which are not shown in the picture. Also, I have the paper work as shown. The backglass does have a few tiny pin holes where paint is missing which could be touched up easily or left alone. Since it is an old electrical amusement device I will not guarantee it once it leaves my residence. I will ship if buyer pays all costs related to shipping. I am unable to put this on a pallet, but will cooperate with a shipping company such as NAVL or the game may be picked up at my house.

How cool. How does it play ? Does the wheel spin freely as the toss. Never seen one of these.

I have played this before and it is a ton of fun with a group. You spin the wheel and horseshoes light up progressively in an arc on the backglass. The harder you spin, the faster they light and the further you 'throw'. You want to get the horseshoe as close to the stake as possible without overshooting it.

There was a thread on one of these a year or two ago. Super cool machine and looks to be a blast to play!

An all time classic fo sho.

It's a really fun game. There was one at the Pinball Life open house last year. I started to ask Terry about it, and before I could finish my sentence, he said, "it's not for sale." It wasn't his. Someone brought it, can't remember who.

This one looks like it's in really good shape.
