Excellent condition Safe Cracker. Game looks like it's barely been played. Check out the shooter lane and the main scoop. It has been in my collection for 20 years. This was the first game I ever bought, so there is some nostalgic regret putting this up for sale. It literally doesn't play like any other pinball machine.

Safe Cracker features time based play (instead of 3 or 5 balls). Hitting certain shots extends your game time. Break into the bank and you get to play the board game in the backbox.

If you've never seen someone win one of the "Magic" tokens for the first time (awarded for making it to the Vault in the center of the board) then you're missing out. Such a cool feature and always catches people by surprise.

Vault multiball is one of the COOLEST things in pinball. Coins rolling down the glass, launching off the lockbar for every jackpot. It's a riot!

Game comes with:
ColorDMD
Wings with nearly perfect decals
Custom painted bank
Additional bank that covers the Roof entrance
Coil cover in back right
Support rails
Full LEDs, including the backbox board game
Stainless steel upper mini flipper
Superbands flipper rubbers
Clear rubber rings
Custom instruction cards
Ramp protector on kickback ramp

Also included are approx. 50 "Magic" tokens, which includes all 20 designs (19 brass designs + the silver bank coin). I'm also including the prototype token.

Magic tokens can be used to start an awesome "Assault the Vault" special multiball game.

Overall the cabinet looks really nice, but there is some minor touchup, notably on the left side of the head. It was pretty well done, and the head is difficult to see anyway when the wings are installed.

There is also a small dent in the right side rail (see picture).

I would prefer a cash sale, but I would consider a trade for KISS Premium.

Happy to take additional pictures or provide any additional information.

Why does this Safe has only One coin slot?

It seems all others have Two.

-3
#3 2 years ago

It's an electronic coin slot. Can take quarters or the magic tokens that the machine gives out. Those coin acceptors are much more expensive so only one was used per machine.

#4 2 years ago

So, why did someone choose to swap the original door for that?

For what benefit?

Or maybe this was a reimport and the exported games had the single slot that takes both sizes??

All the other Safecracker pins have Two slot doors.

If you look at all other safecracker pins, they have Two slots.
This is not an original door for domestic use

#6 2 years ago

I think its a Europe version door

#7 2 years ago

Yes, the one-slot coin doors means it was exported out of the US.

Yeah, I guess that also explains why no pics of the back of cabinet or inside the cabinet?

Game looks clean in the pics, but often water damage to bottom of cabinet or the back when packed in a container for weeks/months

Determined to shit on this FS ad, eh turbo?

It is a legitimate concern when talking about reimports.

Also never seen a safecracker with one coin slot because that game uses two different size coins. I didn't "shit on this" at all. I actually said the pics looks good, but just missing the areas of concern for a reimport. Back side, inside, and bottom of cabinet.

I'm shopping for a safecracker. Not sure why you guys are posting here? You just enjoy following me and commenting on all my posts I guess? You Two above aren't buying anything. Just post whoring on every thread?

#12 2 years ago

No dog in this fight, but more cabinet pictures(op is obviously not afraid of taking a lot of pictures!), is not unreasonable at 10.5k. Yes is see obo.

You came on a FS ad and started making unfounded speculations about the machine and the guy. And if you’re going to send me shitty PMs, learn how to spell. It’s loser dumb fuck.

Wow! I have perfect feedback on this site, and I can tell you for certain that everyone who has dealt with me as a seller (or buyer) would vouch for the experience.

To insinuate that I'm hiding things is a bit presumptuous...I don't know, maybe because the ad has FIFTY hi-res pictures, I point out flaws in the description AND have close up pictures of them, and I close out the ad saying "Happy to take additional pictures or provide any additional information." That really sounds like someone trying to hide something.

There is no water damage. I'll take additional pictures of the back, inside, and bottom of the cabinet as you so politely requested.

Man tough crowd. This looks like an amazing example. LOL at freaking out over a re-import, cmon really?

#16 2 years ago

Op. I think what Scott wanted to know is if the machine is a RE-import or not. One picture of the back, or the inside would answer his question. Glwts

The coin door answered that already. He insinuated that I purposely didn't include pictures to hide damage. That's why a bunch of people jumped all over him.

I'll have another 20+ pictures of the back/bottom/inside in the morning.

Extra mile but I wouldn’t bother.
You’ve done a fine job listing this nice SC.

Haha Turbo giving Cheeks shit; that's fucking rich.

#20 2 years ago

Beautiful machine.

#21 2 years ago

I've dealt with Cheeks and he's a standup guy. I've also reimported games, and both games that I've reimported were very nice examples (a ToM and a Frontier) both at prices that were better examples of equally priced domestic games.

The very fact that a game is a reimport shouldn't be a concern and has been discussed on other threads (and now this one apparently). If Cheeks were to swap the coin door, none would be the wiser. I'm not in the market for a Safe Cracker and don't know the value of one, but I wouldn't be worried if you are thinking about this game based on the fact that it's a reimport.

#22 2 years ago

reimport doesn't mean anything. I have a reimport safe cracker that is nice, honestly to me it adds to the nostaglia because it spent time abroad. condition is all that really matters at the end of the day.

Thanks Panda, I really appreciate the unsolicited support!

For anyone else concerned about the condition of the machine due to re-import, I have taken the additional pictures and they will be uploaded to the ad shortly, revealing all the extensive water damage.

Obviously there are some scrapes on the back of the cabinet from moving it, but nothing big.

#SPOILER ALERT#
There's no gum on the bottom of the cabinet either. Sorry!

My DE JP is a reimport and it is a beautiful machine. Wouldn’t deter me one bit especially with all these great pictures. GLWS.

#26 2 years ago

20 additional pictures of back/bottom/inside added to the listing.

If anyone needs additional information, please ask me...

Thanks to everyone for chiming in on this thread. I really appreciate the supportive perspectives.

#27 2 years ago

for those speculating on whether it's a re-import, let me please direct you the manufacturers sticker that clearly says "GERMANY". Also, i'll point out that some of the best playing machines that have passed through may hands, have been German re-imports.
