Quoted from DaddyManD:Agree. I purchased mine at 6900 in the early days when that was far lower that anyone had priced it and bought it due to the beauty of the art, some interest in theme, but mostly...the FOMO. I however was disappointed and learned not to make anymore FOMO pinball purchases simply based on scarcity, rarity etc. Sorry if not helpful OP because I have huge respect for your honesty
A true UM fan will definitely enjoy this game. I was lucky to sell mine to a huge UM fan who explained to me that many of the sounds that meant nothing to me actually meant something important in the show, and a few easter eggs which was really fun to learn about and made me appreciate the pin more. Hope you find your UM fan too!
And I still really like playing it!
I thought I got a good deal, but this one is amazingly good at 6000.
It has had a lot of small physical quirks I have managed to sort out with considerable effort.
Love the theme, and the newest code has improved the game with another year of code updates to come, including one this October.
It's mostly a matter of personal taste, for example, I REALLY dislike Monster Bash, while everyone else seems to love it.
A guy I know could not sell his Stern JP fast enough, and I've had mine over a year and I play it every day.
Whatever; it's only a game.
