Everyone using their new favorite word provenance made me think of this

Quoted from Dayhuff:Nothing like a Troll to stir things up. Can't believe this thread is still going on and hasn't been shut down for good. I know I'm done with it.
John
Why is it a troll? Unrealistic price, maybe, but I don't see any trolling, unlike the Baywatch thread where the OP specifically engaged other pinsiders. To the OP's credit, he's posted additional pictures and answered any legitimate questions.
It's been an educational thread at that, with original designer's offering insight. I for one am glad the thread appeared.
Quoted from adol75:If this sells for 65k, then Only One Earth Pinball was quite a bargain in the end !
What is that? Haven't heard this story.
Quoted from beergut666:We here in the Twin Cities are very fortunate to have an operator like LTG. The Bill Paxton pin is a real treat.
Yes indeed...I've had the pleasure of playing both an original BBB and King Pin at Lloyds.
Quoted from fns9l:The seller is about to file a law suit against pinside for emotional abuse and suffering.
That has as good of a chance as selling a 65K TZ.
Quoted from fns9l:My bet is all of the negative comments are posters who don't own a pinball machine.
I'll take that bet. How much are you willing to wager? How about my 65K cash against your TZ pinball machine.
Quoted from gold1:So if a TZ in excellent condition came on the market with an asking price of 2k how many of you would jump at it?
What's that got to do with the price of tea in China?
Quoted from fns9l:Yes, you CAN buy a NEW Hellcat. You CANNOT buy a NEW Twilightzone Pinball.
You can buy a better than new TZ from HEP for probably 1/3 the price of yours.
Quoted from vdojaq:Are you from Ottawa IL? Have you ever owned an inflatable clown head?
How about you try offering the machine for a genuinely reasonable asking price?
You are like Cinderella waiting for Prince Charming to come along while living at a lesbian retreat.
It does work out in rare cases
Quoted from Roostking:While I have no idea why this pin is priced so high, its also a fail on the mods to limit negative comments.
This "Should be" a buy or sell section, not just another discussion forum. If you aren't buying, why do you care? In the classic car industry, its called " There is a buyer for every seat". Also, one mans junk is another mans treasure. Show some respect.
Nope....You link your ad to the forum, it opens it up for discussion. I can respect the OP, but still voice my opinion that the pin is ridiculously over priced. You don't want discussion, there is an option for that. Some of the best, most classic threads on Pinside have evolved from ridiculous for sale ads...Just last year's Baywatch thread as an example.
