If this sells for 65k, then Only One Earth Pinball was quite a bargain in the end !

Quoted from robertmee:What is that? Haven't heard this story.
Here is the complete story, in a short a retheme made by William Wiley, a famous artist
https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/william-wiley-opens-his-show-at-the-american-art-museum-with-pinball-18618198/
It sold for a 120.000$
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:"Only One Earth Pinball" by William Wiley, retheme of North Star (GTB, 1964)
Here is what was received for $125,000, not $120K.
Actually I thought it was a one of a kind, but the third picture says it's a series of 5, although it doesn't have a number. I wonder if there's more than one out. It surely is beautiful.
Quoted from beergut666:We here in the Twin Cities are very fortunate to have an operator like LTG. The Bill Paxton pin is a real treat.
There’s a Bill Paxton pinball for real... I discover new things every day !
Everytime I go to Minneapolis, my only mandatory spot to go is White castle, It looks like I need to add a new place to go on my list (and put a serious review on my priorities)
Quoted from fns9l:The machine Genuinely is for sale!
Are you TWiLightZonechamp on twin galaxies ? 200$, that was quite the deal of the century !
Quoted from fns9l:No but now im thinking you are. I see this has already been submitted to the internarional pinball database under other peoples names as well. To be honest, I havent owned this machine all that long. So a previous owner could have. Or these odd things that keep coming up are staged. I paid quite a high price for this machine
No I'm just a guy using Google who tries to put some context into this sale. I think at that price and given the history or uncertainty around this particular serial number, it wouldn't hurt to introduce yourself a bit more, talk about your background, how you got this particular machine, stories that the seller might have told you.
Pretty much what you would do on American Pickers, but for the joy of us Pinsiders !
Quoted from fns9l:Due to the volatile atmostphere of this forum, I will refrain from giving any information publicly. I have provided details to several serious buyers. Due to the flame war nature of this thread, I wouls greatly appreciate it if you would remove your posting of the picture of that text, and all subsequent posts about it. I am not acusing you of personal wrong doing, but your actions are inciting more internet flame wars. Please work with me to keep this as calm as we can.
That's where I believe you are missing the point. The flames came from the very limited amount of informations you've put about yourself and the machine you are selling. It's a collector's item, collectors love to hear stories about what they collect, it really is quite simple.
I will not remove my post from that old forum thread, for I did not accuse you of anything, all I did there was asking a question. I would love to get in touch with that guy and hear how and where his father got this machine and learn more about this model's history.
Quoted from vdojaq:Translation: I am looking for some fool willing to part with his money.
No different than a gold digging 25 year old twit that marries a 70 yr old multi millionaire.
70 yr old is still to young, that could be a 15 years to go. Start at 80, it's much faster !
