*SOLD* Twilight zone project $2900

Added: August 12th, 2015 Ended: August 12th, 2015

Item description

*SOLD*
Hi!
I'm selling a Twilight zone project.
The game is not complete.
I purchased the cabinet separate from the playfield.
The cabinet is nice and dry, and is a USA version.
The playfield has some rusty parts on it and has seen moisture/water.
I bought the playfield just as it sits.
The connectors that go to the head on the wiring harness on the playfield were cut......
Remember, the cabinet and playfield were purchased separate, the playfield did not come with this cabinet.
You are buying it exactly as you see it, I took many pictures.
I can pack, pallet, and ship.
Give me your zip code for a shipping rate.
The machine is located in mid Michigan, so you are welcome to come check it out in person and pick it up.

Thank you!!
PS: pm me if you need a picture of a specific place on the playfield that you could not see in the pictures.

PSS: here is a list of the parts that come with the game that is pictured:
New shooter rod
New clock lense and new clock decal
New slingshot set
Some new right slingshot plastics
Used bag of stuff that was in the game
Used shooter housing
Used ramp

I wish I had them!!!!
Guy before me must have taken them all out, I prefer all new stuff anyways, the lifetime warranties are awesome!!!

It takes a lot of scrolling to get to the bottom! I probably have all the boards whoever buys it!

#21 5 years ago

Gotta be careful on projects like this. When a player machine is $5k ish, can you really get this going for less than $2100?

#22 5 years ago

I have a ton of plastics, used and new. Almost an entire set new. Lots of random stuff too, ramp decals, clock parts. If anyone buys this and is interested PM me.

Awesome! Sent you a PM I'm looking for working system 11B CPU board.

You can, but you'll have to talk about this in the worst buy you've had thread if you pay $2900 for it.

#26 5 years ago

lordloss, you referred to players games being 5k ish, if someone got this they would most likely be putting all new boards in it, and tons of other restoration work.....so how is a game with all brand new boards and stuff worth the same as a players machine????

#27 5 years ago

I bought a TZ in worse shape (but complete) for $1000 more and turned it into an absolute beauty. This is IMO not a bad deal if you like projects and can get parts cheap. GLWS

#28 5 years ago

I am sorta surprised this is not sold yet

Finally a good candidate for a new PF...

#29 5 years ago

At least a grand for boards. If there's no complications could probably get running for about what it's worth. Not counting labor of course.

#30 5 years ago

Sold!
Thank you all for the interest

#31 5 years ago

Looks like adeal to me especially if you have the boards . Also a perfect high end restore project

#32 5 years ago

I cringed a little when I saw the cut wiring harness. The rest of the stuff looks very doable. Hope whoever gets this has fun fixing it. Looks like a fun project.

#33 5 years ago

Wish I would've seen this sooner. This is my kind of purchase!

Anyways, hope the buyer enjoys it.

#34 5 years ago

Love to see this project documented on pinside.. Hope buyer is listening

#35 5 years ago

Reminds me of my PAPA Flood TZ. One of these days, I have to get back to that project!

They look ugly when you start, but they can shine like a new penny when done. Just can't be afraid of getting dirty

#36 5 years ago

That was CHEEEEEEEEEP. I wish I had seen it. I would have been on that shit like a duck on a junebug.
