Torn decals don't equal very best status. No offense.

That might be cardboard under the legs.

#4 4 years ago

Looks like cardboard to me too.

#5 4 years ago

Sharpie touch ups on cab. And fade on the front.

#6 4 years ago

Don't know the guy but I would say that even with those items it's priced correctly.

Having said that, I wouldn't agree with description of "best condition"

#7 4 years ago

Maybe it's my phone but I can't see any fade on the front. The black and blues look right and the bottom where it says twilight zone is supposed to be white like that.

Also looks to be an early design as the clock is all white instead of yellow orange and red.

$5k sounds about right. This pin would probably look a lot better if it was cleaned up a bit though. Again, it could just be my phone. Lol.

100% original... with a silver coin door.

#9 4 years ago

Hex headed hinge bolts?

#10 4 years ago

Hello,

This pinball is my property since it was bought used from a charterer Italian.

All pieces are original except the door that was kicked by some vandal players.

Of course I will replace with the original door wms (you can see that in the picture at the foot of pinball).

Of course the flipper has small signs of wear and tear due to age of pinball and the lack of attention during transport.

But personally I can say that compared to many pinballs from the car this pinball is really in very good condition.

If you are interested you can come and see with your eyes it in Miami or you can also make a video-chat show this pinball.

have nice day.

This seems like an earlier (first few thousand) production. The jet bumper area has the posts mentioned in this article http://gameroomblog.com/guides/twilight-zone-pinball-prototype-vs-production.

Yes... normally WMS send first part of production (with a lot of strange prototypes) in german for try the game... normally the german reseller sale the pinballs without check the differences.

This pin have any other strange particular: has written behind the caisson orange instead of yellow.

I want to apologize for the delay in responses but I have problems in the family. My father 'was hospitalized in Italy and I am traveling back to the US.
Anyone who wanted to meet me can do so at Pinball Expo in Chicago next week.

#28 4 years ago

will you have the machine at expo?

#29 4 years ago

Hi Fulvio,

sorry for this negative post, but why can this pin have a worth of $5000 ?

Its rusty, dirty, clear plastics are brown and most of the rubbers are for the can. Can´t believe the price suggestion.

On flippermarkt.de (Germany) we had last month a price discussion about the TZ.
The conclusion was from 2k for a bad * to 5k € in an ****** excellent shopped condition.

I think the pictures actually don´t show a beauty of a TZ.

Byside I wish all the best for your father.

#30 4 years ago

Even a beater TZ goes for $4500 to start ($2K suggestion is flat wrong, no offense) but clearly this game does need a lot more work than "top status" would indicate..and who knows what the underside looks like.

Well stated price is starting at $5000. The thing is you can get a really nice TZ at $5600 without having to redecal, nice ramp flaps, ect. I know, i recently sold a really nice TZ with no issues for $5600.
