What's up with the Aladdins Castle operator badge screwed into the side of the head? Was it routed previously?

#3 2 years ago

Virtually all TZs were routed so probably. It’s kind of a cool part of the history IMO

#4 2 years ago

I used multicolored Chinese checkers in the gumball machine when I had a TZ. What's in this one?

He deletes the photo of the right side of the head showing the routed label. Nice move.

Too funny!

speaks volumes about the sellers character in my opinion to ignore the question and delete the photo. Sellers like that I avoid. Makes one wonder what else they would hide?

I’m not here to defend Boatnics but he has always been clear on the phone with what he has and what he is selling

#9 2 years ago

Pic is reuploaded, with the plate removed. LOL. The damage is already done (and obviously routed), so why bother removing it? I like them on mine, because it shows the history. You can't change the history of the game, just be honest bro!

Who cares? you looking to be friends with the guy? the game's gorgeous!! makes no difference where the game was before the seller acquired it. Besides, Bally owned Aladdn's Castle Arcades, so I wouldn't be surprised if that plaque was installed at the factory. Possibly never even making it to it's intended location. Or maybe it was in fact routed. Either way, you buy this and you have a really nice Twilight Zone.

#11 2 years ago

What does he mean "low plays" on a routed machine? Maybe low plays in the last few days!

#12 2 years ago

I just love the fact that people defend this turkey, who instead of answering a legitimate question regarding the games history after seeing an operator plaque screwed in the head, he instead removes the plaque hoping no one else asks the question and replaces the photo.

The fact the game was routed isn't the issue. The apparent dishonesty when asked is.

"Who cares?"

What jake35 said. I care about issues of dishonesty and deception when making major purchasing decisions.

ok. well, i guess that's where we differ. 'cuz if someone sells me a super nice example of a high-demand game, i don't care if they tell me they're best friends with bigfoot and that they have a homemade spaceship that flies them to mars, every other sunday. i get the machine, they get my money. end of transaction.

I do not differ. That is assuming you purchase a super nice example of a high-demand game, something you only find out for sure after you pay for and receive the machine. Until then, you are placing trust in the seller that there are no undisclosed issues.

I’d be sticking around for the other Sunday if I were you.

I think this machine was listed 10 month ago for $6,800 and did not sell unless I am mistaken.

I find it interesting that the asking price has gone up this much. Maybe this is because what is happening with certain new machines and LE remakes, and people think this should apply to TZ because it deserves to go up just like the MM Royal. I just can't tell if the market value has increased this much or not for TZ since we seldom find out the sale price if they sell.

Not complaining about the asking price. A seller can ask whatever. Just find it interesting as someone looking for a TZ for HEP restoration and wanting to pay a fair but not inflated price.

Says the guy who brags about breaking other people's machines.

This TZ is immaculate. Who cares if routed or not..the ad does not say HUO. Low plays is relative. It does not even say how many. This is a super deal. I have bought from this seller and his games are mint. Why all the discussion? You guys got nothing better to do than hang around forums and bash people? Sticker no sticker. Buy it or move on with life.

Ok you find a TZ for $6,800 especially in this condition. I'll buy a half dozen. Again interesting that people have the time to stalk when someone listed something supposedly from 10 months ago. Seriously?? The market is way up and this is surely not inflated.

You are right. My bad. I noticed it last night and deleted my post. Weird that it is still there. Apologies to this EJS.
