Wow great deal!

A HUO TZ for $5600 plus a $400 color DMD. How is this not gone already?

Well people usually want to see the condition of the cabinet first.

HUO? C'mon, odds of this being HUO is about 0.5% Also, don't miss the screw damage and touch up above the rocket ship on the playfield.

It's super rare any machine from this era was HUO. TZ didn't do great on location, so a lot of them didn't get too beat up.

Yet another bullshit claim of HUO.

I agree, probably not HUO based on pictures. HUO games of this era are extremely rare. Still a nice game for a good price. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah, it still appears to be a great deal. I just hate all the HUO claims around here lately

Proceed with caution, unless someone knows this seller that has been registered for 2 years because this is their first post/fs ad even though it says relisted. Not saying good deals dont exist but I usually err on the side of if it seems too good to be true...

#12 4 years ago

I bought his Metallica pro off of Facebook about a month ago and had a local (WA) shipper grab it and bring it down to CA. The deal went smooth. I would buy from him again.

Yup screw pop on spaceship maybe another beside the top right door insert.
Wear through the paint on the kickout above the spaceship.

I've seen many routed ones that dont have that kind of kickout wear. They have factory mylar there and this one wore through the mylar, someone added more mylar and it worked through that also and through the paint.

Holy shit. No emoji on a FS thread. That is high praise for the OP.

No way it's HUO but they do exist from that era and I happen to have one.

Also looks like damage to the special insert on the right out lane.

Open yours eyes and look at the other pics, no wear to special. It's a reflection. I should buy this and I don't even want one.

#16 4 years ago

where are the cabinet pictures?

#17 4 years ago

The cabinet would have to be in absolutely terrible condition for this to not be a good deal.

I'm sure anybody who actually has interest in buying this has already PMd the seller and requested cabinet photos, or is on their way to buy it now.

Has anybody who has ever asked for more photos publicly on a FS actually bought the game in question? Seems unlikely.

This is a great deal and I already PM when this was posted asking for cabinet decals just like Levi mentioned. No response : (

Yeah if it was on CL within 3-4 hours I would have bought it, stripped the color DMD and and sold it for $6300. I probably could have it in and out of the house in under 48 hours .

I see that you are right. Either way doubt its HUO but still a good looking pin for a good price.

First post

#22 4 years ago

I was the one that picked up and delivered his Metallica. I played the TZ too, seemed like a good player's condition machine to me: I agree with the others not HUO, as the wear tells the story. I don't remember the damage exactly, but do remember thinking it wasn't that big a deal.

The first time this was listed (notice this is a "re-listing") it had all the pictures, including the ones showing the damage. Maybe that's why it didn't sell.

#24 4 years ago

Maybe some people who own Twilight Zones want to see what a cabinet on a $6000 Twilight zone looks like, in order to gage a pricing band for themselves if they decide to sell their own in the future. what a stupid statement.

Listing a pin for sale minus ALL the cabinet pictures, including the head is strange.

#25 4 years ago

It sounds like the cabinet has been repaired now, according to the ad, but I found the old pic of the damage from the previous ad for those that want to see.

Yep looks like few possible spots that screws popped threw and some kick out wear.Screenshot_20200224-144610_Samsung Internet (resized).jpgScreenshot_20200224-144610_Samsung Internet (resized).jpgScreenshot_20200224-144934_Samsung Internet (resized).jpgScreenshot_20200224-144934_Samsung Internet (resized).jpg
